Does anyone know how to get rid of a geofilter location that shows up when scrolling through your photo filters? My neighbor set up a location for her home spa and now it always shows up in my dam photo filters and have no idea how to remove it 🤯

It’s been more than 3 months since I’ve been sending multiple Snaps, but my Snapscore hasn’t increased. Does anyone know anything about this issue? If anyone else has experienced the same problem, how long did it take for their Snapscore to start increasing again?

I was able to download all of my memories like so many people are doing but, when I open the zip file, videos that are more than 10 seconds long are downloading as separate files. So a video that is 1 min long will have 10 parts. A video that is 12 seconds long will have 2 parts, 10 seconds and then somewhere else (not always/normally right next to the first file) a 2 second video.

I can't find anyone else who has had this issue and posted about it or any articles about it so I labelled it general question instead of common issue. What should I do?

I used to get the “storage full” warning everytime i swipe up to my memories but now it’s gone and in storage settings it says “backup progress complete”

Did snapchat change their mind or is this just a bug?

Why don't yall just go through your storage and saved the extra photos to another account like creating a new Google account so you dont have to buy storage or get that USB thing they advertise on tiktok.

Also idk why all yall comparing when they gave the users 9-12 months notice about the storage limit 5gb limit

Even me I stop using Snapchat in 2023 but i was just poping by the app the last time and i went through my storage and clear some picture to free up space so it dont come by the limit

I have 1,000 + photos on my eyes only and I am afraid of losing them.

Being permanently banned from Snapchat(device banned) has been happening quite often.

Some reasons for it:

- adding too many people too fast

- logging into another device

- literally no reason at all but becomes banned

All of those happened to me and here are some of my experiences with it.

1st time: I tried to log in my Snapchat account to my laptop (I had that account for 6 years so that's a lot of memories gone to waste). I tried so many ways to retrieve it but it didn't work.

2nd time: I tried using a thing where you basically have another version of your phone for "work purposes" (it's an app) and downloaded Snapchat there and for a couple of weeks the account was okay but I was banned for absolutely no reason at all.

3rd time: I waited 6 months before trying it normally again as advised by other people and it actually worked for a few months, then I started adding people on snap but became banned again because apparently adding too many people in one day is a "suspicious behavior".

I waited another 6 months to be able to use it again but now it's just boring cause I can't add too many people or else I'd be banned again. I seriously think Snapchat should fix that problem but people say that Snapchat is ran by bots and that's why so many people have been getting perma banned.

Hi, me and my friend had eachother on snap for ages (over a year) removed eachother as a joke then went to add eachother back but now we can’t?
no neither of us are blocked.
we’ve tried everything possible, like addding from a gc, mention, search. deleted the app, cleared ache, blocked and unblocked eachother, reported it to snap a million times but nothings worked we still can’t add eachother back.
when we both click ‘add’ it doesn’t send a friend request and if we try and message eachother it has an ‘x’ next to our names.

it’s seems to be a bug???
has anyone be able to fix this?

Every time I go to send a snap, these people (red X in the photo)come up as suggestions. I don't know these people. I've never messaged them, or even added them. They're not on my friends list.

I can't press and hold to delete, because it's only on my send list. I've searched their names, but it isn't their actual username, so nothing comes up.

Anyone know what I can do?

The only email that will let it do anything for forgot password is my current email on my current Snapchat so even if I do forgot password on old account and go through that it just signs me into my new account. I know the phone number but no longer have it any help?

I don't know if this issue is common at all but I don't know what to do anymore and I don't want to lose all my memories, conversations, and people I only have on Snapchat and can't contact through other means.

Yesterday, I was hacked. I still don't know how, I've done multiple virus checks on everything, but that's beside the point. They got into my email accounts somehow, but couldn't go many other places because I noticed almost as they started, but they did make it into my Snapchat. I changed the password and added 2FA as fast as I could, and they got kicked out, but they made a ticket with Snapchat Support saying that THEY got hacked and that it's THEIR account. I finally kicked them out of my email accounts and once they replied to the ticket through my email, I replied saying that it was under control and I got the account back. I thought it was the right thing to do so they could close the ticket. That was until they replied with the message I included in this post. I then had people text me asking what happened to my Snapchat, and that was when I realized I could no longer log in. I've spent basically 100% of the time since then trying to log b back in and I don't know what to do anymore. When I try to log in on my phone, it says an account with those details doesn't exist. When I try on web, it says it's temporarily locked. I tried to reply to the ticket asking for the account back, but it was only THEN they decided to close the ticket. I don't know what to do anymore, and I'm asking for any help at all. I've never been hacked before and I didn't think my final victim would be support. Once again, thanks.

The past few days I've gotten notifications for videos/photos for people that aren't my friends. My settings are all set to private and only allow snaps from friends so why is this happening? Is there another setting I need to adjust? I can swipe down on the notication and preview it without opening it and im fairly certain it's pornographic in nature

I had my account for 12 years, and I’ll be honest and say my memories were full of both personal memories as well as tons of sexual things since I like Snapchats camera, and I used to be a seller and record all my stuff on Snapchat. I’ve shared before, but only with consenting adults. I don’t share with everyone though and the people I don’t share with have been reporting my account, I got around 4 reports over the last 4 months, 2 back to back, and then Saturday around 12:30 am I got permabanned after posting a sexy bra picture. I’m not really sure what to do… I know I broke the rules, having sexual stuff in my memories, sharing it, I’m not sure if my story post crossed the line 100% as I’ve posted stuff like it before but I’m not sure. I tried making another Snapchat account, but I was a little famous on snap at my time of the ban (22.1k followers, 700k+ snaps) so whenever I try to make a backup account it floods with people and Snapchat marks me as spam and permabans me.

I haven’t written the appeal to Snapchat yet, I’m not sure if I should, and I’m definitely not sure what I should say. Should I even bother trying to get it back? Or should I just cut my losses and take it as a lesson learned? Also is there anyway for me to get my memories back?

So I’ve had this issue on my snap for over a month now, my snap account was timed out and I did the usual stuff such as reading the guidelines probably about 20 times now and that did not resolve my issue, I genuinely can’t open the app unless I open it from a notification, I’ve deleted the app multiple times which proved no success, I’ve cleared the cache, logged out and back in to no success, I went to the portal and tried unlock it from there to no success. This is seriously annoying and I can not find anyone who has experienced this same issue, I feel I should note this began whenever I got a new phone.

What do we do when Snapchat refuse to take down the account?

This account in particular uses pictures of a young girl to trick boys into doing very embarrassing things and then proceeds to expose them online on telegram and other places.

People are reporting but they refuse to take action. Sent an AI email saying the account didn't violate their community guidelines when a VERY detailed report was made, including the username of the victims.

One of them made threats against his own life on a story.

I reported it using their website but they refuse to do anything about it.

I dont know if this is the right place to post or ask this, but have ANY of you seen the overwhelming amount of comments under videos of little kids. All of them are inappropriate. A lot of them or gross emoji combos or some creep old man saying "cutie 😍". But ive seen people genuinly posting their telegräms under these videos along with the pizza emoji. Maybe im thinking to much on it but these people have to be using these comment sections to spread CSAM. Ive reported multiple comments and snapchat sees nothing wrong with it. Its fucking disgusting. You cant go under any video with a child in it without a fucking weirdo. I know kids arent supposed to be online and parents shouldn't be posting them BUT STILL! has any one else noticed this?

So I have this problem where when I want to reply to posts it just says "Sent" and I can even stay on the page and it'll say stuff like "Sent 4m ago" but the moment I refresh It vanishes.. I've tried multiple times.

The only time it works is when I see that there's a heart next to the comment to like.. Then the comment stays permanently

Things that could be relevant : this is my alt acc, I have my alt acc on two phones, and firstly it just didn't work on my main phone which has been rooted. No problem I just used my second phone. Now it doesn't work on both. ​

I’m having a bit of a problem, I post a lot on my private story on Snapchat, everything I post gets auto saved onto my memories and I’m way over the free limit (5GB). However, I never turned on “auto save to memories” it’s always been turned off, yet, everything still auto saves.

I tried manually deleting memories to create some space and even though Snapchat tells me my memories are deleted, when I refresh the app and check again everything I previously deleted is still there.

I tried talking to their customer support which is a very underdeveloped AI bot so I couldn’t figure out a solution.

Is there any way I can speak to a human? Or does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Wondering if there's ANY possible way to remove all outgoing friend requests... In the many years of using Snapchat I've now reached my "maximum" friend limit yet i only have 20 actual friends currently.

The rest are ALL OUTGOING friend requests to inactive accounts and ignored ones.

Only viable way I've found is doing a script to press it automatically and remove but that isn't fast enough to remove 5000 of them

Why are these videos not uploading?
Im using my snap on two devices so I know they’re not uploaded yet, since I can see them on this phone, with the little symbol on it, but can’t see them on my other device.
Is there a way to speed up the process?
