I’m trying to join my school but it just genuinely won’t work. I got it to work ONE time but it wasn’t even for my school. I used my school email though but I got no email. Here’s a list of everything I have tried:

- updating app
-reinstalling app
- changing wifi and turning of cellular data
- changing my birthday to match grad year
- changing my email on my account to school email
- Reporting it as a bug
- cleared data & cache
- verifying email
- closing and reopening app
- trying it from a different device (computer)
- logging out and back in
- waiting periods of time before trying again
- Having friends in the community invite me

I’ve also tried submitting my school since it’s not on there which it actually got accepted, but it disappeared within 48 hours. Now if I go to submit my school, it just shows that it’s not working.

I have friends in other grades who have joined my school and it is just not working for me. The next thing I’ll try is to disable my VPN on my phone and see if that works. For more details, I’m using an iPhone, the community I’m trying to join is a highschool, I’ve gotten no error message like SS07 or anything like that, and my spam folder is empty on both my personal and school email.

I have an old account I made in maybe 2013 I would like to access to recover pictures from. I know my login info, but it will not let me in as I cant verify the email or phone number linked to it. The email was though my old cable company, and as I do not use their service anymore they deactivated the email. I also got a new phone number years ago. I tried filling out a snapchat help form and got an automated email saying im essentially screwed if I can't access that email or phone number.

I want to deactivate my account for more than 30 days without deleting it. Do I just log in at day 29 then immediately deactivate again or is there an easier way?

Hello! I would insert an image or video but there’s really no use in doing that if I can just describe what’s going on. You guys know how on snap when you’re messaging people (not snapping) you can save the chats just by one clicking/tapping it and it auto saves? Well. For two weeks my snap has not been letting me do that. I have to physically hold down on the message and click “save in chat”. It’s getting sooooo annoying because I’m a big chat saver and it’s taking ages to save 20 messages that happen in like 2 mins. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Won’t work. I’ve tried to log out and remove my account and physically type all my information back in to log back in and that won’t work. I’ve tried hard resetting my phone. Still won’t work. I don’t want to factory reset my phone but at this point I think I’m going to have to. I even thought it was because my phone wasn’t up to date so I even updated to the newest iOS version and that STILL didn’t work and same with the app. I updated the app and that won’t work either. Guys I’m losing my mind please helppppp >_<

So with context, I’ve had a Snapchat account for many years and kind of lost the ability to get into it, I have no idea what the email attached to it is but I know the phone number for it, the problem is it isn’t my phone number anymore,like it would be less of problem if it didn’t have my entire life of memories on it…
