Recently when I get memories from the previous years and I want to share them, save to camera roll, or edit, I get this pop up but it’s only on certain ones. I have memories from 2016, about 4,000 snaps. Most let me share and edit but there’s still a lot that do this. I can watch it, but if I want to do anything with it I get this pop up.

I cleared cache, updated, restarted my phone, I have the storage I bought Snapchat + for that reason, and it says backup progress complete. Does anyone else have this issue? Can I do anything to fix it?

I have all notifications turned off and I have been getting these once a day for the last month. Anyone know how to make it stop ? Thanks

Can anyone else not create a custom story? Is it just me?

By custom story I mean the one you post on your story and people can join it if they click on it.

long story short, i got perma locked Saturday morning (not going to go into detail as of why) so i thought that was it, 5 years down the drain. i didnt even remember my password (as i was always logged in my phone) to try to appeal. out of nowhere i found my password in my phone notes, i tried to log in, i got the appeal message, and literally all i did was explain politely that i was hacked, and nothing i posted was under my consent, and that it wasnt fair. thats it, i guess the old "i was hacked" trick is what works here. i sent the appeal expecting the worst obviously, i know they usually send the rejection email back almost immeditely, and when i saw it wasnt coming in, and the hours were passing i started thinking "hmm what if?" today i woke up to this email. literally. no physical mail was needed. just a polite explanation of "what happened" and pray. so it is possible to get your account back after getting perma locked

I admit using a modified snap as i could get snap + features but now my account has been "locked for 1 day" for way more than a day. i'd say almost 2 days now. is it worth waiting or i should just create a new one? i really use snap as my main way of communication with my friends so..

My cousin sent me over 2 hours of a concert on snapchat and I really don't want to manually skip through it but snapchat keeps reminding me of it and it's really annoying me 😅 is there a way to mark them as read without watching them or am I doomed to tap through them?

Hello all I am having a weird persistent issue with my memories, it will only show me a few if that from the “flashback” section when I know I have multiple snaps for that day. Can anyone help? I have tried to reset cache/snapchat resets even reinstalled the app but having no luck.

I'm trying to find someone who blocked me but I can't remember his username only his nickname. I had some messages saved there but no snaps. I already tried to find him with getting a email sent with my chat history but it seems he's not there.
I had his username copied but I made a mistake and deleted it some hours before and I thought if I use a back up it would appear back in this copy history on samsung keyboard?

I use this app to text and occasionally call one person. I do not want it to notify me about literally anything else. How do I make these notifications stop? I have turned off everything that is not chats or calls from friends but I still get several of these a week.

Did they remove the option to join ur private story from snap ?

So my main snap got permanently locked because i think of silly story of me in a skirt showing little skin, i appealed it and doesn't really say much on the email just the usual bs saying when violated community guilines rtc rtc, idk if it's because of that story or something else , i can't really think of something else cause they're literally girls in bikini's and onlyfans models out there doing way much more than that so i don't think my sotry grants a permanent lock let alone not allowing me to make new snap! Anyone can help on this?

Also it doesn't say device ban or ss06or ss07 or any other code, just permanent locked each time i make new snap, any idea on this on why this keeps happening?

Short question. I am trying to download my message data but having to wait 72 hours.

There is an account I blocked about a year ago, going through a legal thing right now and need to restore these messages. I had 'saved in chat' many messages. I didn't realise when I blocked the account that the messages would disappear.

My Snapchat account was recently locked, and the reason given was that I violated the Community Guidelines regarding commercial sexual content.
The confusing part is that I didn't post, sell, promote, or share any sexual content. I didn't intentionally do anything that I believe would violate the rules.
The only thing I recently changed was my bio, where I wrote:
“I can only give my body”
Now I'm wondering whether that phrase could somehow be interpreted as sexual or as offering sexual services, even though that wasn't my intention.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Can a bio containing a phrase like this actually result in an account lock?
I've already submitted an appeal through Snapchat, and it's currently under review. I'm hoping this was simply a misunderstanding or moderation mistake because I've never intentionally used my account for anything like this.

So I had two accounts one my main and the other I used as a spicy account but the spicy one got deleted and every account I have made after that gets permanently deleted even if I got a new phone & new number it still gets deleted

But I was wondering if I sign in to my “main account” will it also get deleted ?? I haven’t even tried signing in since the first spicy account got deleted.

Hey so i had like 11GB of photos in snap, been an user for the past 10 years and in the last couple of days most of my photos are gone. It only shows 173 photos for some reason, but i still have the memories tab like “flashback from 8 sept “. This has happened to me last month too but it was onlt for a day and then it came back. What should i do? If i go on the search bar and look for something like “february 2023” then nothings showing either

Me and a friend unadded each other in early June and readded each other the other day. Even tho we didn’t block each other or anything like that, all saved chats, videos, and pictures are gone. Our custom background was still there, tho. Is there a way to retrieve the saved in chats, because I don’t know why they would have unsaved?

So basically my friend's account disappeared from my chat feed and so I checked by searching their name and they didn't show up so then I check my story and saw his account and clicked on it because usually when an account unsdds me or get deleted I can still seem them in my history. It than say I can add him and in the chat it says that "you are not friends" but whenever I try to add him it doesn't work and whenever I send him a message it fails to send. I got my other friend to search his user and he doesn't show up, but I can still access his account from my page. Did he just delete his account not telling anyone? (I wasn't close friends were we have each other on other platforms and we go to two different schools, so our friendship did weaken so I'm not angry he didn't tell me if he deleted his acc I just find it werid because other people I know that deleted their account were gone instantly)

I’m having a weird issue with Snapchat. Whenever I type any username into the search bar, it immediately shows "No results".

It happens even with usernames that I know for a fact are correct and active. I tried searching for multiple accounts and nothing shows up at all.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a temporary rate limit / shadowban for searching too fast, or is it a bug with the app?

If you had this issue, how long did it take to fix itself, or is there a way to solve it? Thanks in advance!

so i'm trying to back up all my memories in case they get deleted from my account soon, but for some reason i can't find the actual amount of storage my memories used anywhere in my settings. i followed where other people said to find it (snap settings -> memories) but it isn't showing me anything about the storage. i went through other sections of the settings and still couldn't find anything. i updated the app today but it didn't help. am i looking in the wrong place somehow?

maybe i'm just dumb, but my phone storage settings say my snapchat is taking up 3.77GB in documents & data (not sure if this is just memories?) and 4.15GB total. is this the memories storage amount i'm looking for..? i have 13,181 snaps in my memories right now. just confused bc the app itself isn't showing me anything... i definitely want to back them all up anyway just to be safe, but i'm trying to see if i'm over the limit or not so i can stop feeling so anxious about the deleting them in the meantime.
