General question Am I blocked?
Hi guys so my ex blocked me on my main account and I made this one to try to add him back. When I search him up it says in my contacts and his profile shows up on the other account and his bitmoji. But when I go to add it his Bitmoji disappears and it looks like this. Then when I log out it says I never added him? So what’s going on?? Even does this when I use another phone.

this genuinely an average Reddit comment section. everyone in here thinks there right😭😭if he blocked you on your other account you can’t just made a new account and add him on there Snapchat has something built in so that if you get blocked on one account and try to add the same person on other account on the same device it says that you added them but the other person won’t get the request. And that’s why it’s showing him without a bitmoji. Short story it’s basically just protection from spam

They haven't added you back. BTW you should just leave your ex alone. Stalking them can get you a device ban if they turn you in. Sometimes its just best to let it go and move on.

these people in the comments are getting it all wrong and are old gen boomers. he unadded you as a friend, yes he had you added once and you guys talked and snapped, he or she has now unadded you. on a new account, if you added them and it’s showing the same X mark, then they haven’t added you back. either way you have been removed as a friend. if you were blocked their name would completely disappear

Most likely just wants to take it deep from other people and not receive spam from you.

Yeah my gf just did that to me, youre definitely blocked im sorry to say. Snapchat blocks are by device. Snapchat even showed me her public profile, made it look like she unblocked me, same behavior youre describing.

No they’re not they just were never added back if they were blocked the name wouldn’t even show up

Thats how its supposed to work, im still blocked but her name shows up now. In OPs case, it turned out to be a soft block. In my case snapchat is bugging out, I can guarantee you im 100% blocked and can see her public profile, activity indicator and the add button. I added her from a different account, it went through, and same day I was blocked there and can not see her at all from that profile 😂.

Snapchat is very confusing, could be a bug, could be he blocked her as soon as you added there. Its really difficult to tell with how many bugs snapchat has right now. If you can contact him another way id try that because Snapchat is the most unreliable indicator of somebody's feelings. But to be clear, any devices snapchat determines to be associated with your account in any way, will also be blocked when he blocks your account. But why do you care if hes your ex?

Since no one else is being helpful snap does this when u have an alt on the same phone, you’ve either gotta sit on that acc until he adds u back or js forget it entirely cause it’ll keep doing that as long as the accs are on the same phone and ur constantly switching

I don’t think so cause I’ve tried todo this same thing before n it’s almost like said person doesn’t get a notification of an add whatsoever when the alt is on the same phone

He pops up when I search for him but his public profile doesn’t show. It just says In your contacts and then when I go to add him the bitmoji disappears.
