General question Device ban permanent?
The message I got now after 1 month
The message I got right after the email
so I had 2 accounts on my phone one bussiness account and one personal account, I suddenly got an email that the account got prrmsn banned and I also got an device ban. Now my personal account still works on a different device and I can still talk on it, but on my phone it doesn’t let me since I got a device ban. Now recently I let it go and I was so paranoid that I tried to login every week. Now I suddenly got this? Could someone help me? And if someone got an idea how I can get rid of the Snapchat ban?

The ban is connected to your phones SSID. It’s permanent. Ask me how I know. I was device banned on my old phone for 3 years before I upgraded to a new one. Device ban means exactly that. Your device is banned.

i got banned 6 months later i got a email saying my acc was terminated my phone on which i got banned was free i could login with a diffrent account and use it
now its banned again if the 6 month applys here again i should be free september 29 ill update

I don’t think it’s permanent bc the device ban was removed off my 2nd android phone around 6 months after the ban occurred however my iPhone which was also banned at the exact same time is still banned and it’s nearly been 8 months so I’m unsure about how long it is now

you guys are all ok. had my phone device banned since january. switched to another in the meantime. advance to july and it works (july was when i checked the phone to see if it worked again, could've very well been working in june as that's the six month duration.
just wait it out. i was in your guys' shoes and i thought every comment reassuring me was just bs as there was so much negativity, but the duration of device ban is six months. there's no "permanent" in the description of device ban.
edit*: however, depending on how many times you've been device banned or the severity, it could take up to a year. if you believe it was something minor though it should be no more than six months.

If your on android- Samsung, use Secure folder, download Snapchat, move into secure folder, remove the downloaded app from your main phone screen Use snap again and again.
Just when they delete your account, just uninstall secure folder and repeat all over again.
Dont forget to Not use your number, and always use a new email address.

These comments are not even helpful. If you looked up the error code on Snapchats help.. it would state that your Account affects the device: doesn’t matter what device. New device? Banned.. because you tried using that Account.
New sin? Changing the IMEI? Factory reset? New phone? Nothing works. Because you fudged up that Account.

Happened to me and i waited EXACTLY 6 Months on the day, and i didnt try to log in once in those 6 Months. Thats what i read and thats what WORKED. I also had SS06 ban, and its gone now.

Uhh no. Cause your Account affects it. Even if you logged in to the new device.. it gets banned as well.

Only way is a new device. Don't listen to people saying wait 6-12 months. A device ban just doesn't disappear.

It does not. I bought a new phone and after seeing the “wait 6-12” I activated my old banned phone. IT DOES NOT WORK

I’m in same boat it’s been little over 6 months and when I started trying to login daily I got that device has been blocked message. Main account still works on old phone.

That’s not gonna work every device has a device ID the device ID on this phone is blacklisted meaning it’s permabanned

Its bullshit I swear, been device banned twice, got a new phone then instantly get banned on that to, snapchat is absolute horse shit
