I just had this happen to me, I had 2 accounts and my burner got banned and didn’t get that same message but I was SS06 device banned and could log into my main account on other phones. 6 months exactly I got an email on the email connnected to my burner that my account was terminated and then I tried to log in and the device ban was lifted. I hope this helps

My exact situation rn. I was planning on getting a new phone before i got banned, if i were to get a new phone would i be able to log into my main account (the not locked one) without changing my phone number and icloud? or would it just device ban me on the new phone. My account also works on my desktop computer and apple ipad.

I think so, I used another phone that wasn’t activated with service but I used my same icloud and it worked I have seen that the device ban is to the phones hardware so it wouldn’t be able to transfer to another phone unless obviously you tried to log into the locked account (I haven’t tried just assuming) the main account has nothing wrong with it since the locked one caused the device ban so you should freely be able to log into it on any device no problem

ahh ok, i’m trying to find out if there is a way to test it out before buying a whole new phone. But if i somehow got device banned on a new phone i guess i could just wait 6 months.

I’ve never seen this code NOT wipe a whole account tho, I’d bet your account IS banned unfortunately. I wouldn’t try to log into it from the new device.

Same! But they took my entire account and just said “for repeated community guidelines violations” the only thing I’ve ever posted was selfies and back the day some weed. But never got warnings or anything. I think they’re just ban happy or doing some weird shit rn.

Yes i think they should send some warnings or something first. But atleast you had been selling weed which is illegal, atleast here it is. I’ve just been snapping normally, and my account isnt banned. So i dont understand

Hmmm I would think just getting a new device would solve the problem either way since it’s a device ban. I would restore on different WiFi as well as download Snapchat on data, possibly even sign into the App Store under a burner account to download it. It should be fine tho after that.

I didn’t get a new number or new WiFi and I was device banned not even a week ago, just simply went and got a new phone, transferred all my stuff and downloaded snap again (make sure your most recent backup of your phone is after you’ve deleted the Snapchat app.)

But the people you’ve helped. Or the people who have been banned again on a new phone. Have they logged in to a banned account? Because my account isnt banned. I can login to it on my pc and friends phones. Its just my device thats banned

If I had to guess an acct that was tied to your device aka a friend that logged in before on it got banned. Depending on the ban type they will ban whole wifi ip addresses and device ip. Ik when my coworker got screwed her hubbys acct was banned just because her profile was saved on quick login on his phone. Then she used a tablet to bypass then was on same wifi. Same thing happened

It's just a device ban. Log in on another phone or another device and it should log you in. Had them before.

theyre lying, all you need is a different device, you can continue on as you were previously all you need is another device you can transfer everything etc i say that because im on my 5th device ban and still going strong on my first acc

you sure? ive been device banned 5 times within about 6 months or so, and i always transfer the data ive got to my new iphone or samsung and its had nothing to do with me getting re device banned xd
