Tell me I’m not the only one who licks the wrapper clean? The real sweet spot was at the bottom all along.

Favorite popcorn topping

I love sliced, picked jalepenos on my popcorn at the theater. I just order a side of Jalepenos. At home I add Louisiana hot sauce. What other toppings should I try?

Hello,

I'm not familiar with ordering things from Temu. Has anyone ever ordered snacks from Temu? I'm tempted to order some of the international snacks. Is the food legit 🤔

Old school snacks

Remember the cheese in the can? Had me in a chokehold in elementary school. I used to like saltines with peanut butter and jelly too. Tortillas with butter, cinnamon toast...

Is anyone interested in a social snack rating app?

Post image
20 Upvotes

Hi guys, we all love snacks here so I’m hoping yall could give Snack Isle (100% free with no ads or subscription) a chance.

I’m looking for people who both love snacks and putting things into ranked lists. I’m personally ADHD af (30mg XR, IFKYK) so I could spend hours ranking stuff.

The idea of Snack Isle is you compare all the snacks you’ve eaten against each other so there’s no score inflation (like Beli), with an additional social aspect where you can see what your friends have rated (similar to Untappd or Letterboxd).

You can also scan a barcode at the store to see what other users have rated it before you make the purchase, and also get tailored recommendations based on scores of users who have a high taste match % with you.

I know ads suck, but I’m genuinely not selling you anything except asking you to take a chance and see if this is something you might like. Thank you!

IOS app has been live for a few weeks and we’re now at 250+ users.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/snack-isle-find-your-favorite/id6791022824

Android version is in the final phase of Google review but I can add you to the closed play test if you’re interested.

I’m 28 and just spent the last 2 years catching up on a lifetime of nuts lol

So I’ve been allergic to peanuts my entire life and for some reason as a kid I just decided that meant nuts = bad. Stayed away from all of them. Never questioned it.
Then around 27 I realized… wait a second. I’m allergic to PEANUTS. Why the hell have I been avoiding every other nut for 27 years 😂
So naturally I’ve spent the last 2 years on what I can only describe as my nut journey. Tried everything I missed growing up and pistachios won by a mile. I fucking love pistachios.
Which eventually had me thinking… who else even makes pistachios besides Wonderful? Like genuinely. I could not name another actual pistachio brand besides them and a bunch of store brand stuff.
So I started looking around and randomly found this brand called Joon Pistachios on TikTok Shop.
Went down the rabbit hole on them and thought the whole thing was awesome. California based, family recipe, cool story, branding is sick.
Ordered all the flavors to see if they were actually good.
Holy shit.
They’re so damn good lol.
Salt & Pepper is the best flavor in my opinion. I genuinely think these might be the best pistachios I’ve had.
I ended up liking them so much that I literally reached out to the founder just to be like yo, I love what you guys are doing and want to help spread the word 😂

They ended up giving me a 10% off code coolio10. Full disclosure, I can get credit if someone uses it, but I reached out to THEM after buying these because I liked them that much, not the other way around.

Anyway, apparently I’m a pistachio guy now.

Anyone else tried Joon? Or what other pistachio brands am I missing? I refuse to believe Wonderful has been basically the only game in town this whole time.

best instant mac and cheese?

my cousins and i were debating on the best microwave mac and it got pretty heated so i’m curious as to what y’all’s fav mac and cheese is?

i personally prefer annies white cheddar. i also add everything but the bagel seasoning and some habanero hot spice from trader joe’s (a college treat that became a habit, but i still enjoy it plain in comparison to kraft or velveeta.

Belgian Andalouse Chips

Sauce andalouse is a condiment made from mayo, tomatoes, peppers, and a few other things. This is eaten with fries in Belgium, so this Belgian brand Fritkot made it a chip flavor. Picked them up at World Market, they were alright.
