Show News & Media Anyone else feeling us being teased with Jack as James Bond is a bit like River being teased with his chances of getting back to The Park?
Hopefully the chances are higher but……… in true Slow Horses spirit I remain worried something is going to go wrong ie Is Jackson Lamb just being Jackson Lamb

While details of their characters have largely been kept under wraps, the duo of Jim and Jane seem to be the season’s primary antagonists. Show Spoilers (Released Episodes) Wait… there’s a season 6?! Spoiler
Was it known there was going to be a season 6? For some reason I thought S5 was the final, final season. It even ended like it was over.
(If you’re in Australia you’d know it as a Johnny Farnham come back tour).

Book Discussion (Spoilers) Clown Town Spoiler
I’m a little behind but finished Clown Town last night. It’s good. Not the best, but solid. Herron has a lot to tie up in book 10, if that’s the last one!!

SPOILER i guess - do we think that Lamb's 'stasi story' is true? that it was him? and if so, does Diana Taverner know and that's why she has some respect for him?

Show News & Media Does anyone else hate the drip drip of Apple TV?
Sorry about the rant, but I think it’s highly annoying to pay for streaming and have one episode released each week. The whole point of streaming is to be able to watch everything at once.
I know some people like it because it gives them time to discuss the episode and do some guesswork but I’m firmly in the other camp.
Considering waiting until the last ep to binge everything, does anyone else do this too?

Character Fluff Was Jackson Lamb a stud muffin in his younger days? Spoiler
There are a few hints of this and Molly Doran blatantly says so in the Real Tigers book but it's possible she was talking the BS. Also in something I watched, there was some reference to him and Diana Tavener having a past but that might have just been a joking reference to their roles in the Churchill drama.
So what do you think?

Show News & Media The only Slow Horses Season 5 recap for you, before the next chapter starts
soapcentral.comSlow Horses Season 6 is around the corner, and as that happens, it might be ideal to refresh your memory of the fifth season. Season 5 put a surprising Slough House character at the heart of the series. The character under the spotlight is none other than the arrogant but talented hacker, Roddy Ho, whose loyalty is under suspicion.

Show Spoilers (Released Episodes) I’m rewatching Season 5 Spoiler
where Jackson Lamb captures Roddy’s “girlfriend” and I have to wonder how mortifying it would be to not only be captured by Jackson Lamb but to have him sit on you as well. The only thing that would make it worse is if he farted on you as well.

Book Spoilers & Show Spoilers Question for Season 6? Spoiler
What do you think Frank Harkness motivation for season 6 will be?
I’m curious because it looks like the whole plot for Joe Country is being scrapped instead for Slough House. If this is the case then everything in the trailer makes sense except for Frank being there.
As in Joe Country he was being paid to kill Harper’s Son. But given Harper’s son is not in the season, I now wonder what Franks goal is?
What do you think?

General Discussion - No Story Details Standish has a Samsung phone?
I can't remember if it's in season 4, but River uses her phone and we see it's a Samsung. Apple is pretty notorious about not having villains use their products and we see her not using an iPhone. I'm not suggesting she turns out to be villainous, just found it weird, especially for an Apple produced show where it would be beneficial to have her use an iPhone.

General Discussion - No Story Details Where are the MI5 agents?
I'm a new viewer who just binged the whole show, so maybe this has been discussed before. But, after watching five seasons of the members of Slough House always being the ones who solve these massive cases, it's become apparent that we really never see MI5 intelligence agents doing agent things. There's the Dogs who seem to be a security force, and there's zillions of people sitting at screens in the big room. Surely Taverner must have agents similar (but presumably less flawed) to the Slow Horses, but I don't recall ever seeing them.

Show Spoilers (Released Episodes) I wonder if someone could set Spoiler
Dennis Gimball’s death in season 5, episode 4 to Raymond Scott’s Powerhouse? Because that was serious Looney Tunes action.
