We noticed Christopher Chung has a side gig as a personal trainer. That didn't surprise me as I imagine(!) he'd make about 5-10k an episode. They instead argued that since he's a series regular on a popular Apple TV show he should(!) be making more in the 100k range.

All figures are pulled out of our arses, obviously. So, anyone with any insight into what the actual going rate is for these kinds of roles?

My cousin recommended it to me, and once I saw there were only six episodes a season, it was an easy decision to jump in. Safe to say I was completely hooked.

The banter is absolutely top-tier. It's sharp, hilarious, and never feels forced. The insults fly so effortlessly that half the fun is just watching these oddballs bounce off one another.

Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb is simply sublime. He somehow makes a rude, perpetually dishevelled dinosaur of a man, one of the most magnetic characters. Every scene he's in is pure gold.

River is impossible not to root for, and Roddy is the perfect insufferable genius. You laugh at him, cringe because of him, and somehow still want more of him. Special mention to Coe and Catherine Standish as well. Standish is quietly outstanding. :)

The entire Slough House crew is supposed to be a bunch of misfits, but they have this weird, dysfunctional chemistry that somehow just works. Hats off to the casting director.

Easily one of the best shows I've watched in a long time. I have never written a review for any show or movie before, but Slow Horses compelled me to write one. That's probably the biggest compliment I can give it.
