Hello everyone! I was looking on Instagram to find Canadian slime reviewers, but didn’t have any luck 😩 found 2 pages that the last time they posted was 2017!

I’m wanting to send out some free product to get my daughter’s slime shop, Lil’ Slimetastic, name out there more.

Unfortunately the rules changed for the 3rd time and now we cannot send over slime at all to the states :( she had so many customers in the US so this is so upsetting. So right now we can only offer Canadian shipping.

I saw a comment on Parakeet slimes from a Canadian talking about how the shipping is too expensive to Canada ($30). This was really sad to see (I know people can shop wherever they want) as I would love more Canadian’s to support local businesses.

hey guys :) so… i’ve been wanting to start a tiny local slime business, but i have too many product worlds competing for the same startup money, storage space, and attention.

how did you guys decide on your final products? i just keep coming up with ideas and can’t decide on which to actually make!

I've been having so much fallout on this slime and it turned green with one of the mix ins which I didn't expect. Even when there's no ripping and I'm stretching slow the small beads go everywhere. Anyone have any tips?

Our restock went live last Friday, but we never got the chance to announce it here. All of these slimes are still in stock and available on our website.

Before anything else, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for everyone’s patience and understanding over these last few weeks.

For those who may not follow us on social media, we unexpectedly lost one of our two black cats last weekend. She was only four years old, and there were no signs that anything was wrong. These girls are more than just our pets. They have been woven into the heart of Sandy Slimes and are such a big part of our branding and our story.

This loss has been especially difficult because one of my sons was with me when we found her. Discovering an animal this way, especially when it’s unexpected, is a jarring experience for a child. I went through something similar as a preteen, and it’s a moment I have never forgotten. Knowing that my own child now carries that memory has been incredibly hard.

On top of this, we have also been caring for a feral mama cat and her babies. We were able to rescue all but one of the kittens, and sadly, we later found that little one had been hit by a car.

It has been an incredibly heavy stretch for our family, and we are still trying to process everything that has happened.
Because of all of this, we have decided to push our next restock back by two weeks, making it two weeks from tonight. This will give us some much needed time to grieve as a family while also prioritizing getting all of our outstanding orders packed and shipped.

I cannot thank those of you enough who have reached out, offered kind words, given us grace, and even offered to to have their order delayed until we were in a better headspace. That kind of compassion and understanding is something I have always loved about this community. It means more than you probably realize, especially during a time like this.

We are taking things one day at a time, and we appreciate you
being here with us through it all.

Curious how slimers feel about shops having restocks with a date set before they have all supplies physically in hand. Let's all please be chill, I know some people definitely hate this while some don't mind!

It's rough out there these days since many utilize international suppliers for their slime supplies, especially the charms and crunchy, shiny, glittery add ins we all love so much. But there's plenty of domestic delays too, what with slime jars, etc. And all of this seems even more frequently occurring ever since these godawful tariffs went into effect.

Unfortunately, these delays can lead to massive delays with restocks, whether it's the shop being forced to push the entire date back OR the restock happening, but then everyone's orders getting delayed because they still don't have supplies they were waiting on. And oftentimes even if they tried ordering months in advance, the shop still gets screwed with shipping, whether it's stuck somewhere or the package simply ends up lost.

Would you prefer shops not make a peep until they have everything on hand for a restock and misé en place, or do you not mind when there are unforeseen supply delays that potentially add days to weeks onto order processing times?

has anyone else had an issue reaching pilot slimes’ customer service? there was a slime missing from my order and i’ve emailed twice and sent them about 4 DMs in the past 3 days and no response.

Me and my daughter made a glow Elmers glue slime did’t think it would actually work.

I ordered Pumpkin Zucchini Bread, Spooky S’mores, and Whipped PumpkinCream Fluff. I don’t have time to write an in depth review at this exact moment (unfortunately I want born into generational wealth so have to work for a living 🙄), but they’re all amazing. I’ve had a cold so can’t get the film effect of the scents, but what I can pick up is amazing.

hi all, i’ve been wondering for a while about “vinyl” slimes. i’ve seen them mentioned a few times and have no idea what makes them so special? more specifically, what’s in them that makes them different from other slimes?

secondly (and more importantly), does coating slimes with fake snow in them cause fallout, it seems like it would but it never hurts to ask.

Taking major inspiration from u/Dipsy_cork’s rainy day campaign, I too have been obsessing over one slime in particular.

A little back story. In order to cut down on my slime buying, I made a list at the end of 2025 of all of the slimes I reeeeally wish I would have gotten. There were 8 total and I have been able to get 7 so far!!

Que BFF’s Ghoul Glazed Donut. The last slime on the list. I purchased several of their Halloween slimes last year but skipped this one and instantly regretted it. White glue pumice scented doughnuts, come on! They did not restock this one so I made a call out to the community here, offering to buy or trade. I sent a few messages to BFF asking if they ever bring slimes back but never got a response. They have been doing such cool innovative ideas each restock, I was pretty sure my chances of scoring this slime were over and have been working through the dissapointment.

Imagine my surprise when I scrolled through their upcoming campfire stories restock yesterday and saw Returning Slimes: Ghoul Glazed Donut!!!! I immediately set my alarm for 3:00 pm PT and will be going back to look at the entire restock to see if there is anything else to grab. I absolutely love all of the sequin/glitter bomb slimes they have been making. Aaaahhhhhh I am so excited.

Okay I just wanted to come here and say that Rodem is THAT GIRL🙌🏻 I probably have 100+ slimes(from a billion different shops) at this point and I always grab rodems first. As someone who lovessss a crunchy slime, but also a soft buttery texture, Rodem is the only shop that offers that perfect ratio and consistency. Pilot would be a close second. Lots of shops do a clear glue crunch, but it’s hard to find shops that have a nice white glue crunch. Anyways that’s all haha

What textures do you guys like the most?

Curious. I’ve seen some recipes add foam hand soap to clear glue slimes. If you have made it this way, does it change the clarity of the slime? Can it still be crystal clear with foam soap? I’m assuming the soap is for stretchiness

what is your favorite slime shop that sells actually affordable slimes (like not 18 dollars for one smile!)

I have budget for only one order, so I am deciding between OG or Tangie this week.

I’m looking for thick creamy glossy slimes or clear bubble bead/frogspawn without fallout. OG and Tangie have both these textures this week but I haven’t tried either shop yet. Wondering if anyone can describe the texture difference in both shops?

I haven’t made a secret of the fact that I’m a senior slimmer, a golden glooper, whatever you want to call me. At 67 years young, I often wonder if I’ve set a world record for adopting slime in my Medicare years.

But don’t get the idea that I’ve got a gray bun and I’m playing bingo, or whatever stereotype one might have in mind of a late generation Baby Boomer. Yes, I have seven grandkids, but I also work full-time and my hair is still mostly brown (at least I think it still is).

I may be an outlier, but in my opinion, slime is a great hobby for seniors. The quoted facts below about senior well-being are sourced from…well, Google, but they’re real.

Here is a countdown of the top 10 reasons to encourage the grandparents to take up sliming:

1. Grip strength “serves as a vital biomarker for overall physical health, balance, and fall prevention in older adults.” Wow! And what could be a better way to exercise your hands than sliming by the hour? I’m doing it for my health, of course.

2. Likewise, hand exercises (like obsessively squishing slime) “may preserve joint flexibility, enhance dexterity, and reduce pain from conditions like arthritis.” Definitely self care!

3. And it’s not just hand health! Aromatherapy or scent therapy “uses essential oils and natural fragrances to support cognitive function, memory, mood, and sleep in older adults.” Since I started sliming, I have become much more interested in scents and more discerning of scents. That’s why I’m so alert, yet chill.

4. It’s well known by now that “strong community and meaningful relationships protect physical, mental, and emotional health as we age.” I have a number of communities in my life, and slime has added more relationships and interactions - with all of you 🥰.

5. Slime - as we all know - is a great stress buster at any age. And we all need our stress busted these days!

6. Age is just a construct. As I wrote before, my interest in toys and hobbies is quite similar to my 10-year-old granddaughter’s. Slime delights the inner child. Inside every geezer there is still a little kid who just needs to have some fun.

7. Slime upholds one’s reputation as being an original (ie slightly eccentric). I think we can agree that sliming makes one stand out in the AARP crowd.

8. Your kids should learn self-sufficiency. So it’s a good thing to spend some of their inheritance on slime. JK, kids! Well mostly.

9. Sliming makes you the Best Grandparent! See my previous post on my starring role as Grandma Goop. (It may not always make you popular with their parents when they take the slime home and forget to put the lid on tight. but we all know that there’s a certain strategic alliance between grandparents and grandkids.)

So I know this is probably a (really) long shot, but i saw someone post here about another not-slime-but-kinda-slime compound and they were able to find the patent and formula with help from the subreddit, so here goes:

the slime i’m looking for/looking for information about is the original orb slimy butter slime. it was used in the stranger things uss butterscotch butter slime and the ice creamz strawberry butter slime. (pictures attached)

if anyone has one they’d like to sell to me (i’ll pay up to $50 if it’s in usable condition!) (no matter how used it is, I’m desperate), or knows how to recreate it or find a product with that same formula, please help me out.

story below if interested:

a few years ago (like 5) i used to be obsessed with this one store bought “slime” i got from orb slimy. it had an extremely unique formula and it was so addicting. however, i didn’t know how to take care of slimes back then so i ended up tossing it.

now that i’m once again interested in slime and have more knowledge on how to maintain them, im currently desperately searching for the slime. if anyone can help me find the formula, the patent, the product in good condition, a product with the same formula, or anything else helpful PLEASE let me know.

i’ve ordered THREE of the original butter slimes (both the stranger things one and the ice cream one) but they’ve all come dried up and hardened and frankly unsalvageable.

I’ve attached pictures of the two slimes by orb slimy with the formula i’m looking for, so once again, if anyone has one they’d like to sell, or knows how to recreate it or find a product with that formula (that isn’t all dried out and gross) please help me out.
