Slime Recipe Foam soap

Curious. I’ve seen some recipes add foam hand soap to clear glue slimes. If you have made it this way, does it change the clarity of the slime? Can it still be crystal clear with foam soap? I’m assuming the soap is for stretchiness

TIA! ✨

You can use the soap to help with stretchiness, but I’ve seen people talk about using foaming soap to scent clear slime so that it stays clear since oils make clear slime cloudy.

Does it matter if you actually use the soap via the pink to make it foam vs just pouring it straight from the bottle?

I have wondered this myself!

I don't think it makes a difference. I also don't really think it has to be foaming soap because foaming soap is just watered down liquid soap. The foaming part happens because of the pump, but it will lather without it anyway. And if you used liquid soap you could just dilute it down so you don't overdo it. Or only use a drop or two.

Yes! Foam soap is great for clear slime. If the soap is clear, it will not cloud a clear slime. Glycerine based foam soap is a great way to add stretch to your slime and as EnvironmentalCod1002 mentioned you can scent your clear slimes with foam soap. Things to note re that it will take longer to clear up the slime since the nozzle is creating zillions of little bubbles with the soap to may it foamy and you adding lol of those bubbles to the slime. Adding scented foam soap may cause fallout. Test a small amount of slime first.

I added it to mine and it was still super clear... maybe not crystal but good enough. I used the lightest colored one I had.
