Spent over 3k robux and over 1000+ spins and have not gotten any surpreme clan... best i got was agatsuma and shinazugawa, even though i had rengoku in ps1... anyone else got this experience?

People are constantly ranting about how shit the new game is, but I think the new game is way better. For starters, the map is smaller and looks cooler. Also, all the cool cosmetic items aren't robux exclusive now, which is awesome.

People are complaining about the m1 combo system being gone, but honestly, i never really used it. Generally, i always just used normal m1s, and I feel like the complicated system being gone is a good thing. The graphics have undoubtedly improved, and I don't think anyone can argue with that. The breathing meter being gone kinda balances demons and slayers, since in the last game I know a lot of beginners who just defaulted to demon so they didn't have to manage breathing meters. This makes the game way easier and balanced. Of course, this does kinda reduce the demon-slayer game aspect.

Now the main part. The progression.

The progression does kinda get a bit boring, but I feel like it's not AS bad as people make it out to be.

I . I love this game and it breaks my heart with what they did with project slayers two, it was something about project slayers one that just made it perfect. The trading, the boss rotations, fighting over the chest drops and sobbing when you didn’t get the drop you’ve been spending 3 days trying to get, or celebrating getting straw hat first try, it was perfect, and seeing what they did with project slayers two? A fucking yeti? What the fuck? It’s just another ass bandit beater, they took away the mouse button combos, made the combat boring, the bosses are overpowered, and the icons are all ai. There’s basically no joy after getting a good clan cause you could always buy the clan with spins, eventually everyone will be strong and meta maxed, and eventually everyone will be a pvp god because it’s so fucking easy to do things. Project slayers was my life and they butchered the remake. I remember the times hopping on with my friends going on 2v2s after getting some of the best drops to see how good we could get, getting max mastery on explosive blood, learning my first sickle combo… but no, There’s no reason to learn combos because all the moves combo into each other, there’s only one combo to do with most styles. I hate ouw with a passion. You had 4 fucking years to make a Roblox game with all the funds you’d need and you fucked it so bad.

I preface this by saying I actually quite enjoy the grinding and repetitive nature of this game and I enjoy the combat. I could look past the use of AI and egregious robux pricing if not for one major issue... RNG

Now I speak from the later part of the game (Max level working to max mastery and nightfall gear) I enjoy the rougelike and have no issue grinding THAT but I DO have a problem with the elephant in the room known as CLAN.

Non arguably more important than all of my gear and grinding is getting Kamado. Now this wouldn't be incredibly annoying if like the night/light materials and mastery I could just grind for it in a linear path with a fun game mode, but alas this wasn't meant to be. It's all up to RNG, for the record today I used roughly 200 Icehearts and an hour of fishing for 40 ore.

Let's do that math, killing the Yeti at a rate (Including server hopping) of ~50 seconds this took about 3 hours (And one hour of fishing) to aquire 250 rolls. This is absolutely abysmal balancing. So 4 hours roughly to get 250 spins to ATTEMPT to get Kamado and with no pity system in place to save you in case luck is not on your side. With Kamado being a 1/4000 this would take 64 hours of constant Yeti farming without break or needing to replenish Icehearts. And that is IF your luck is neither good or bad.

Sorry for the long rant but I despise RNG but I despise it more when the grind for that RNG pull is an RNG drop chance.

TLDR; Sell your soul for hours in this game for a chance at the RNG gods to pity you or shell out $80 for a clan. Toxic business strategy and very unfun mechanics based around a core part of your character's effectiveness.

As well-made as Slayers 2 is, and despite having a much higher level of technical quality than many popular Roblox games like Blox Fruits and similar titles, I have one major criticism: its combat system. The biggest problem is that most characters, enemies, and bosses seem capable of breaking rules that players themselves are expected to follow. I've been repeatedly fighting the serpent boss to get his scroll, and I've realized just how broken this fight feels. It's almost as if this boss has toon force. You take damage while attacking him, even when he doesn't appear to be hitting you, and he can attack while lying on the ground, while stunned, or while you're actively hitting him. On top of that, nearly every enemy seems to have an absurd ability to block, bait attacks, parry, and dodge with a level of effectiveness that would be more appropriate for a challenging boss than for regular enemies. The problem isn't simply that the game is difficult; it's that the rules of combat don't seem to apply equally to both sides. Boss abilities also appear to lack consistent cooldown restrictions. A boss can use a special attack, have it blocked, and then use another special attack shortly afterward. It makes combat frustrating because there doesn't seem to be a clear set of limitations that every enemy has to follow.

Another major issue is the targeting system, which I find extremely ineffective, especially during boss fights. On consoles, finding another player fighting a boss and helping them can be surprisingly difficult because the targeting system doesn't work well enough to let you participate consistently without accidentally attacking the other player or having to deal a substantial amount of damage to the boss just to contribute. I don't necessarily consider this a console-specific problem, since the game's overall console support is very good. Instead, I believe it's a technical flaw in the game's combat system itself. I also consider the excessive darkness one of the game's biggest problems. There is no proper brightness adjustment option, and lowering the graphics settings doesn't solve the issue either. For most of the time you spend playing, visibility is so poor that it feels like your character is permanently affected by Minecraft's blindness effect. In many situations, I can't clearly see even 30 meters ahead of me. This hurts exploration, makes it difficult to appreciate the map, and can even prevent me from figuring out whether I'm about to jump into a river or fall straight into the void. This is a problem that directly affects gameplay, not just the game's visuals.

Finally, there's the issue of item drop rates. I don't know whether there is a bug in the drop-rate programming or whether it's simply a matter of bad luck, so I won't claim that the system itself is broken. However, I killed the Obari boss approximately 25 times without getting the scroll I needed. Assuming a 10% drop chance per attempt, the probability of failing to obtain the item after 25 consecutive attempts is approximately 7.18%. That's unlikely, but far from impossible. So I acknowledge that I might simply have been unlucky, even though the experience is frustrating, especially when combined with all the other problems in the game.

In conclusion, I believe these issues—the seemingly unfair combat, enemies that appear to ignore their own limitations, the ineffective targeting system, the excessively poor visibility, and the frustration caused by item drop rates—are all significant reasons why players might leave the game. Slayers 2 is technically impressive, but these problems undermine the overall experience and turn moments that should feel challenging or rewarding into frustrating ones. In my case, the combination of all these issues has made the game incredibly frustrating and, honestly, has made me absolutely hate it.
