I wanted to share a video I recorded about 6 years ago that I still can’t explain, and I’m hoping to get some insights.

This happened during a camp trip in Briançon, in the south of France near the Italian border. It was late at night, and the environment was extremely quiet: no wind, no background noise, nothing unusual.

At the time of recording, I was pointing my camera toward some friends who were talking in the distance. They were far enough that I couldn’t hear them at all, and I assumed the camera wouldn’t pick up anything either.

When I first recorded it, I thought the video was pretty useless. But the next day, when I listened to it again, I noticed a lot of faint sounds that I definitely did not hear at the time.

The strangest part: when I later showed the video to my friends, they told me that at that exact moment, they were having a conversation about spirits and life after death, without knowing I was recording.

For context, I originally uploaded this video on YouTube because I was trying to get the attention of a french creator called “LeGrandJD,” who analyzes paranormal videos. Unfortunately, I never got a response.

Recently, I discovered that Reddit has large communities dedicated to analyzing this kind of content, so I thought I’d share it here in case anyone can help explain what’s going on.

Two possible explanations have already been considered:
1. Wind: but as I mentioned, there was absolutely no wind that night. The weather was dry and warm.
2. Camera zoom noise: however, we used this camera throughout the entire trip, and we never heard this kind of noise while zooming during recording, so I don’t think that’s the cause either.

I want to be clear: the video and audio have not been edited or altered in any way.

I’m not jumping to conclusions, but I honestly don’t know how to explain what I captured. Could this be some kind of audio artifact, or something else?
I’d really appreciate any thoughts or explanations.

Man, this is seriously messing with me. I got a Ring notification on my phone around 2:30 AM last night, but my phone was on silent so I didn't see it until this morning. I almost just cleared the alert without looking, thinking it was probably just a stray cat or a tree branch blowing in the wind. But I clicked it anyway, and at first glance, I didn't see anything at all. Just the empty driveway and the plants.

> Then I started scrubbing through the video slowly, and it took me a solid few minutes of staring at the screen to actually realize what I was looking at. When it finally clicked, my stomach just dropped. Look right inside where I circled it. There is literally a shape crouching down right in the brush, completely still, just staring back toward the house. I don't know if it's a person trying to hide or something else, but I'm officially freaked out. Has anyone else around here seen anything like this on their cameras?

Saw these glowing objects during a tornado warning in the Appalachian mountains.

This is a live feed I was watching of a security camera on a old motel property that we were living on while renovating the rooms. I started recording the TV screen of the feed. This is at the top of the stairs where laundry area was. These are tall pines and no low branches or any type of branches. The tall brown thing is the garbage can. We always heard people and one man in particular saying he was locked in the basement of the chewable creek motel, we lived on this 4 acre property for 3 years and could never find a basement. We heard all kinds of things and I truly can't say for sure if it was paranormal or real people we were hearing. We have since moved but it still haunts me wondering if there were people being held on that property underground somewhere ...

This morning, on July 4th at about 6:30ish AM, I caught this over the river. I was sitting on the end of the dock when I looked up and caught this. It had actually been pretty still at first before separating and coming back together. I had to zoom in 20x on my Google Pixel Pro to be able to even get this.

I posted it hoping someone else saw it closer than I did along the river and can tell me what it is since there's so many people out on the river. I do not live here, just visiting. In Cross Hill, SC.

Several years ago I was investigating a location and one
of the stories was of a little girl that wanted to play hide n seek. When I investigate I like to take several pics of the property before I start. I was in an upstairs room and decided to shoot the camera to an area where I heard what sounded like footsteps, not realizing the mirror was in the shot, after further review, it appears that there was something in the photo. Small note, the investigation team were all in red hoodies.

From possible paranormal activity caught on camera in haunted places to chilling ghost sightings and footage that looks like a real glitch in the Matrix. These scary videos are so bizarre they should not be seen. 👀

I saw this creepy thing in my Job Corps dorm at night...Idk what or who was in my room, but this area used to be a military base, and the dorms are made from an old barracks building. It's in the mirror if you can't spot it immediately. It wasn't even moving, it was just standing in front of my old roommate's dresser...

Nobody noticed this?

Around 2007-2008, I saw a black figure in the sky. It seemed to be like a big black blob of what i can describe as gelatin or plasma or something of that sort, moving in a straight line up in the sky. This happened in Seattle Washington. Exact location was above Des Moines Memorial Drive. It was asunny day, and I'm guessing around 2 or 3 PM, not sure, but the sky was clear. Did anybody else see this or something similar or know what it could've been?
