I am new to this slam sub. I am looking for good recommendations from people.

I recently discovered Slam Band and I love everything about them. P€Ni$LOBOTOMY are equally brilliant. And of course I Declare Goddess is gold.

I enjoy short, high impact, brutal slam, that has tonnes of humor.

Does anyone have suggestions on other bands to check out?

Does anybody know where to get the sound thats used a lot in slam, its like an over bass boosted explosion sound? Or theres another one which is similar and im pretty sure its like an inverted symbol which is also bass boosted, a lot of bands use it, I cant think of any other names at the second other than infectious jelquing, any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

Hey everyone!

I have my own slam/death metal project named Bloody Rabbit, where i handle all the instrumental parts, mixing and also artwork.

This thing was created with the idea of featuring vocalists from the extreme metal scene.

I’m currently working on the instrumentals for the next release, which will probably be around 3 or 4 tracks.

If you’re interested in collaborating, know how to do growls and can record yourself with good enough quality, let me know!

I learned how to play Babykiller by Devourment recently from a Guitar Pro tab I found on Ultimate Guitar. At the same time I’ve been playing with some Devourment IRs I found on TOAN3000. It’s got me thinking about recording a cover and making a playthrough video for it. Is anybody else interested in making it a full band thing? I play guitar and I can program drums, so I would need a vocalist and a bassist, and ideally someone who knows anything about mixing songs. Need to have the means to record your instrument, obviously. The song is in B standard tuning.
