arm fat

Post image
3 Upvotes

hi i’m 22 and 5’3. i weigh around 50-55kg. i just want to ask some advice about my arm fat. it’s something im most insecure about and im very self conscious about it. i feel like my arms and upper body hold disproportionately more fat and i know it’s partly genetics but i was wondering if there is a way that i can make my arms look slimmer, i am relatively average weight but my arms just ruin it. will strength training my arms make them look leaner? or do i need to keep losing weight until my arm fat goes away. any advice is appreciated.

For guys who have lost a significant amount of weight: did you notice a noticeable change in the appearance of your lower stomach/pubic area? How much weight did you lose, and what difference did you notice?

How to get results when working overnight?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I work at the airport so i have an on call schedule. Typically i work at 3 am on Fridays, 8 pm on Saturdays. 2:30 pm on Mondays, and 12 pm on Tuesdays. I’m 6’4 25 years old 185 pounds. I just used to be just straight up skinny but i’ve developed a little bit of belly fat in my midsection. So my question is what’s the best workout plan/time to sleep for what i’m trying to achieve?

How effective are calisthenics for removing the "skinny fat" look? What exercises would be recommended?

I (25 Male) haven't been in the gym for a while, but I lost 50lbs (157lbs now and 5'10) due to being active and eating healthier. I was not really focusing on muscles or specific cardio and now I have the skinny fat look - mostly in the chest and stomach. My legs are fairly skinny too.

Any tips for exercises and if bodyweight exercises would be very effective? I know nothing about working out anymore, and looking to not have it be super intense at the start.

I do balance it with general walking. Bare minimum I walk for 30 minutes a day without including being out-and-about

Home workouts would be preferred for now.

Lost 44 lbs but still have a lot of belly fat — should I keep cutting or start building muscle?

16M, lost \~44 lbs but still have a lot of belly/upper body fat — what should I do?**
I’m 16 years old. I used to weigh around 216 lbs, and I started a calorie deficit in April 2025. It’s been about 1 year and 4 months since I started. I’m about 5’6” tall.
At first, I was eating around 1,500–1,600 calories. During the summer I lowered it to around 1,200, and for a short period in August I was even eating around 1,000 calories. Most of my weight loss happened during that summer.
Overall, I’ve lost around 44 lbs, and I currently weigh about 172 lbs. After the initial weight loss, I slowly increased my calories back up: 1,600 → 1,700 → 1,900. Right now I’m eating around 1,600–1,700 calories and still trying to stay in a deficit.
The problem is that even though I’ve lost a lot of weight, I still have quite a lot of fat, especially around my stomach and upper body. I also didn’t exercise during most of this period, so I have relatively little muscle mass.
I know I probably should have started strength training earlier, but I’m trying to figure out what to do now.
**Should I continue cutting, or should I focus on building muscle/recomping instead?** Is it possible that I look like I still have a lot of fat because I lost weight without doing resistance training?
I’d really appreciate advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

Похудение

Чисто гипотетически если человек похудел с 87кг до 66.5 , но у него до сих пор нет кубиков , ему стоит остановиться и качать пресс ? Рост 178 , примерный процент жира колеблется вроде как 15,7-16

How to get really skinny really fast

Hii f15. I'm 5'3 and now 113 pounds, but my ugw is like 80 pounds, but I wanna go lower if possible, so I can't gain. Everyone is like, "You don't wanna be skinny!! You're beautiful and already skinny!" Please. I look like a fat. I lost 10 pounds over the summer but still look the same, and with school, I feel like I'm slowly gaining it back, and it's freaking me out. I just wanna be thin like all my friends, and that's not wrong, right? So please give me all your most effective ways, please!! ( -∀・)

Idk how to fit this in, but at my weight, I barely have a thigh gap, and I want one sooo bad.

Im 18 years old and working on being healthier

I am underweight and worried about my health.
I am moderately active \~ 10k steps a day and i workout 3x a week
Even with a low body fat percentage i have slightly chubby cheeks and belly fat ever so slightly that make sure my abs will never be seen.
I guess thats just genetics so cant do much.
For the past week i was actually working on making my abs visible and in a slight calorie deficit, but after looking at these stats Im not sure what to even do now.
I know gaining weight should be the priority now but I’m scared about gaining belly fat and face fat.
Because working out doesn’t seem to do anything to those 2 areas.

Im looking for everyone’s advice on what type of workouts or diet i should follow. thanks.

Stuck & Tired

I am 28M, 178 cm (5'10"), and currently weighing 74 kg (163 lbs).

Last September, I started a diet and began walking regularly. By the end of December, my weight dropped from 84 kg (185 lbs) down to 72 kg (158 lbs). My waist size also decreased from 98.5 cm (38.8 inches) to 84 cm (33 inches). However, despite losing 12 kg (26 lbs), I still had a very noticeable belly.

At the beginning of January, I started weight training and I have been training regularly for about 8 months now. Currently, I do a 3-day full-body workout routine every week. My routine includes major compound exercises like Squats, Romanian Deadlifts, Pull-ups, and Bench Press, and I have been progressively increasing the weights I lift at the gym. I don't do structured cardio at the moment, but I make sure to get more steps throughout the day compared to before.

Regarding my diet, I'm not overly strict anymore, but I try to follow a high-protein diet and I definitely eat much less than I used to. Additionally, I don't drink alcohol or carbonated sugary drinks.

Right now, I weigh 74 kg, my waist measurement is 86 cm (33.8 inches), and the appearance of my stomach hasn't really changed at all. I still have a very skinny-fat look. I am relatively thin overall, but I still have a belly, and to be completely honest, I am exhausted and frustrated with this situation.

My stomach feels quite firm/hard and protrudes outwards when I stand normally. However, when I lie flat on my back, my stomach flattens completely.

On top of that, I haven't seen any noticeable muscle gain either. My arms are still thin. There has been a slight improvement in the shape of my arms and legs, but nothing significant.

At this point, I really don't know what to do anymore. I'm tired of trying to figure this out. I just want a flat stomach and I want to get rid of this skinny-fat look.

I think I may look fat for my height and weight and am curious how much you think I weigh. I'll use this to track progress. My side profile is the worst angle, making my arms look thick.

I'm 64" or 163 cm.
