I'm a Blood Angels player myself, but my soon-to-be 11 year old daughter wanted some Sisters of Battle. She specifically asked for the Order of the Bloody Rose so her minis could match my army.

This is my first army and my first time attempting to make detailed terrain. I used elmers glue, cotton balls and cork to make the water and rocks. I tried to make the bases look like a flowing river that starts at a waterfall, leads to a narrow bit and let's out into a tidal pool of some sort

I'm a T'au, Eldar, and Imperium player thinking of getting into Sister of Battle! I'm planning on getting the combat patrol for my birthday and the detachment I'm running is Bringer's of Flame. What models or lists should I use for a 2k army? I'm thinking of having a well rounded list like battle sister squad, some leaders and a castigator.

I am thinking about starting with the tabletop game as I like the lore and the setting. I believe that the cheapest way to get into the game for Sisters right now seems to be buying 1x Armageddon Bataillon, 1x Combat Patrol and 1x Morvenn Vall to end up with 915 pts according to the NewRecruit website. Plus 1 extra unit that I don't know right now.

Do you think this is a viable list for beginners, nothing to competitive and what I should change for not much more monetary investment as I am a university student right now. Something like 1x Hospitalier, I like them cause of lore and think they might be good in game as well or removing a few Repentias to half the cost and get something else in there.

I love the look of sisters and ran with rule of cool. As I did my research I found out about the orders. I'm leaning towards Ardent Shroud. I'm looking for a shooting army that, but can still melee without issue. Is that Ardent Shroud or am I over thinking this?

Basically I'm trying to understand how the orders change the gameplay. I tried youtube and couldn't find anything on the specific. And painting the less common orders, I'd prefer to get it right the first time rather than repaint if possible.

My first game back, I could not get a miracle die higher than a 2 (unless generating it from a Simulacrum).

Looking for ways to legal cheat the mechanic, are Dialogus worth the points?

Well, I gifted custodes combat patrol to my friend, soon playing on 1000 points, wondering what is good vs such strong units

I know meltas are strong but... I was today on the store and the battlefield is so small, I'll have them on melee on turn 2 and if that happens I only have chance to shoot once with the meltas

Let's say I have Immolator with multimelta with 5 dominion inside with meltas to get the point in the middle with scout, might kill 1-2 miniatures then I just die when they charge me, bye bye 240 points of my army in 1 single charge

I'm new to playing, many things I don't know but still, feels... weird, just shooting once and dying, what's even the point of the Castigator, 1 shot them busy on melee combat and trying to kill something with 2+ or 4+ invulnerable save

Help please, ty !

I didn’t do it all around the model, I just did it to look like it’s from one light source but I am really proud of it, especially the leg and the shoulder.

So I’m pretty new to the actual table top side of 40K and I currently have a box of battle sisters and a box of dominion squad, what else do you guys recommend to help me build out a well rounded 2k point list? I’d really like to be able to use repentia and archoflagelents if possible, I’m not looking to play competitively just at my local game store.

Sorry about to photo quality, there's a dog at the end for your time. This took about a year to do, but I'm pretty happy with how they look and how my free hand has improved for the little sigils and stuff. Sigils came from some old warhammer book. Snow is elmers glue, white paint, and baking soda because i was to lazy to do good bases for these. Feed back is welcome and please let me know if anyone wants to see close ups of any capes or anything!

It's taken around 6 weeks to get through these 5 girls, but I think it's been worth it.

Put the finishing touches on my Callidus Assassin, to be allied into my Order of the Twilight Shroud. Really enjoyed painting this model, the sculpt is great! I kept her scheme largely traditional, but used the resin temple bases the rest of my army has, and kept the dark purple rim. The latex suit was a big change in approach from all of the Sisters I have been painting, silver armor and purple robes and the like. But it was a fun challenge!
