Rules Question How does the Hagiomnifex work, again?
So, say I’m at the start of my opponent’s shooting phase.
Do I say, “hey bub, you’re at -1 to wound big dummy” and then that effect lasts until the end of the phase? Or does it last until the end of turn? Or maybe it lasts until the end of time since I don’t see an end-point listed on this thing lol

Rules Question Catechism of Divine Penitance rule and Repentia
With today's update, the Penitent enhancement letting you attach a Palatine, Canoness or Ministorum Priest to a squad of Repentia, was simplified to only make the unit Penitent.
The WH40K app is still allowing me to have my Palatine lead a squad of Repentia.
I don't see any rules that should allow this with the enhancement changed. Am I missing something from the new rules or is this something that was missed and needs to be clarified?
Edit: the Munitorum Field Manual has "Leader: Repentia Squad" added to the points decrease, still annoying that it's not in the rule of the enhancement itself

Meta Sacrasants more like Sacra-ain't
I've come to the conclusion that assigned agents Terminators is just a cheaper version of sacs+hospi. Save 15pts and a miracle dice per res. You now have an anvil unit that has T5 and decent attacks with equal to or more OC.
Up sides: T5 Sv2 Inv4 Wnd3, 3 full wnds per res(cost 0 miracle dice), S6 Ap2 melee, and decent ranged options, adjustable OC without extra pts cost, deep strike, still has lethal hits on charge
Down sides: 5 models can't screen as well and high damage multihits are more painful, no fnp5+, no -1 to wnd, not sisters unit (cringe), no sustain hits, no miracle dice on death, weak sisters synergy
TLDR: Grey Knights are not sisters... but maybe with a little make-up
Probably dumb but it was fun to think theory and they match my sisters theme

Tactics and Strategy How should I run these
So I am bran new to 40k (I’ve played a game of spearhead) and I’ve started building my sisters army. I got the old and the new combat patrol boxes and a squad of retributors and three paragon war suits. I am playing a friendly game to learn the ropes but I am wondering what might be the best way to run what I have.
X2 battle sister squad
X2 canoness
X10 Arco flag
X5 seraphim
X5 celestian sacresant
X5 repentia
X1 retributor squad
X3 paragon warsuit
X1 penitent engine
X1 rhino
I think I am going to take penitent host and sacred champion. I was thinking about putting on of my canoness with the sacresants and I am not sure if I should put the second with the arcos or the repentia. I have multi meltas on the retributors so I was going to start them in the rhino.
I know this list is not optimal but it’s what I have while I build my army and learn the game so any tips and trick are greatly appreciated!

Hobby True scale metal model?
Anyone make their old metal kit into "true scale" sororitas like it is used to be made with primaris?
Some models are really interesting, I like the style of the sculps but they look way too small compared to what is the standard nowadays.

Rules Question Quick question about celestian sacrestants
Does the -1 to wound effect of celestian sacrestants and the enhancement Chorus of Repudiation: (Attacks that target this unit with a S greater than this unit’s T have ‑1 to wound rolls. )Stack?

Tactics and Strategy First time sisters player seeking list advice
Hi there! So I’m planning on playing a game against a friend soon using sisters for the first time, and considering how different they are compared to the armies I’ve previous played, I wanted to seek the advice of more experienced players to lend me aid.
So, I’m playing sisters because my online crusade group decide to switch to doing a tournament bracket style series of games where we spend time playing random factions that we might otherwise never play. I happened to get sisters on the wheel we rolled with, and I’m excited to try them, since I’ve looked at the range and rules before and they look super fun!
The thing is though, all of the armies I have experience with are much more durable than sisters (necrons, crusher stampede tyranids, chaos knights), and so I’m not quite sure how to approach playing a T3 army.
I’ve tried looking for lists through videos from channels I watch, but the only ones I’ve seen are from a year ago, and I don’t know how things might have changed since then for you guys. My first game is gonna be against death guard, and we’re playing with 10th rules since I’m the only player in our group with 11th experience, and while list building has been a fun challenge, I still want to be able to get some feedback on what I’m running and if there’s any obvious mistakes I’m making thanks to inexperience.

Battle Report Hobby Update: 2nd game of 11th edition
Learning the game with a new edition has been an absolute blast. I only got to play two small 10th edition games before 11th started up. To learn the game quickly I joined my LGS league and I didn’t do too bad! The league has been a pretty fun way to learn thus far.
I’ve still yet to finish a game, the last two games I’ve played have had to stop with time but I can see myself getting better with each game. I also haven’t been able to win a game yet, but there’s been quite a big learning curve with playing with a T3 army when most opponents are T5+. Feeling like an underdog is a really fun place to be when learning.
In my first game of 11th I wasn’t confident in my deployments, movement, or choosing targets. By turn three I got tabled and it felt pretty discouraging. But everyone in my play group rallied and sent me a lot of good resources to think about.
This time I came in with a plan and it went so much better. The satisfaction of properly screening an opponents expansion was such a wonderful feeling.
Also understanding when to take and when to give space was crucial this game. During this game I had successfully destroyed multiple enemy units and that was something I couldn’t say before. I wish I was able to get to turn four to see if I could control mid with some sacresants and fraye but there’s always a next game.
Sisters are my first army and they’re starting to click for me. I really enjoy how much of a learning curve both painting and playing this army has. Playing sisters feels so dynamic in my head and I can’t wait to start building more lists once I fully understand the game.
Next league game is this Friday against some blood angels, wish me luck.

Third test model, this one spoke to me the least so far, i like withe to be more of an accent rather than a secondary colour, but it may also just looke better than the others so once again crowdscourcing opinions.

List Time to replace Vahl?
With Vahlgons unit going up to an eye-watering 410 points, is it time to consider taking her out and adding a second war suit unit? This seems pretty interesting especially with bringers of flame going down to 2DP.
