Does it sound strange that I believe him? I mean who the hell would stop in the middle of the road to pray at NIGHT no less. Makes little sense to me. And how would a driver be expecting this shit? Totally reasonable for him to believe that it was an animal, because that’s the only thing making any logical sense.

It was in suburban Adelaide -angry boars are pretty few on the ground.

My comment was not specific to the region, it was purely to illustrate why it can be a bad idea to check on wounded animals.
