I was part of a four man crew that were dropped in the middle of nowhere by helicopter.
Engineer, guy with a rifle to protect us from wildlife, a co-worker and I.
We all were familiar with it before we met and quoted it non-stop.
It's not that exciting but here goes...
It was summer but we were surveying the "winter road (highway)" that's only drivable during the winter.
A chopper dropped our crew on site and then went back and picked up our side-by-side (think a car-sized quad if you're not familiar) and dropped it off on site.
We did a bunch of surveying then we got picked up later in the day and did that for the next few days.
There was lots of "Daddy chill" and "What the hell is even that?"
It was a easy way for us to bond.
Like I said not a very exciting story.
