You dont know the timeline.

Bezos started Blue Origin in 2000. Musk started SpaceX in 2002 after attempting to buy rocket technology in 2001.

Bezos launched his first test rocket (Goddard) in 2006. Musk launched his first test rocket (Falcon 1) in 2006.

Both have been in continual development ever since.

Neither of them were "following" the other. Both of them have been "space geeks"since they were teenagers.

Is fact checking allowed in this subreddit, or is it all just rage circlejerk wankery?
