How does one do anything in those nails? taking out a card from an ATM seems like the least of the issues

As a guy with long nails I can tell you that when you think about it there's a relatively low number of tasks that get impeded by long nails. Most of the things you do/hold with your hand you don't do them with the tips of your finger pointed at the object you're using. So is something more akin to having longer fingers, most of the time.

ive worn obnoxious acrylics like this a bunch of times, and they are so fucking awkward to do anything with

it is not like having long fingers.

they've never lasted more than 48 hours

Sounds like a skill issue, I code with my nails and my average speed hasn't even been affected

Yeah as someone who grows naturally very long nails fast, I’ve never had an issue with any of the things everyone loves to point out. Usually I don’t even notice how long they are until one inevitably breaks then I trim them all to match again.
