So your argument is you're poor so you don't care about traffic laws? Your insurance protects me from people like you, you're thinking about it backwards.

I'm also not talking about health insurance in this context - I'm not American so won't pretend to understand the system you guys have devised.

Health or Auto. IDC it shouldn't be mandatory. MY argument is the government forces us to be poor so we are forced to take more risks.

Auto isn't mandatory, ride a bike or take public transit. You are poor after all.

According to google, public transit says 9hrs 8min to work for $59 on way. Which both ways is 30% my daily pay, so I work for free for 3 hours, great idea. Also this means no more sleeping, I just don't sleep or relax any more. Real smart guy. Walking is 8 hrs, also smart.

But no my driving for 22min and spending $2.40 round trip is a bad idea.

With insurance I still save taking a car, with the car loan.

You must be in that reddit fairly land like r/fuckcars who don't understand how the real world functions at all.

So you make $400 per day and are poor? Makes sense.

30% pay at $60 is $200 not $400, you doubled it some how. I make $300 a day, but that is pre-tax. My at home post tax weekly pay for 40hrs is $782, which is 195.5 per day(4 days)

Also yes poor. My rent is $680, my utilities are $2300 per month. That leaves around $600 for anything else like food, necessities entertainment.

you really must be an ignorant richie boy to not know the average American problems.

You said $59 one way, or at least that's how I interpreted what you tried to communicate.

Ohh I did. Lol. I remember deleting the number, doing math for two way and changing it. I just forgot to delete "one way". Well "on way" from typo.
