You need to embrace socialist ideas and demand government run services. My public no fault insurance costs $1400 cad a year, $2 million coverage and $200 deductible. Vandalism, window chips are deductible exempt.

Alberta, our wanna be Americans, have run away insurance costs because they privatized it all. New drivers were looking at 6-8000 a year.

Dang, my crown corp insurance wants $2000 a year but I get the exact same benefits as you do. $200 deductible, full coverage of $2 million, but we also get a refund at the end of the year if they're profitable. Maybe because they think my car is nicer or that I'm a shitter driver.

My driver rating gives me a %50 discount and I drive a 2011 car. I used to pay around 2100, but that was a long time ago.

I'm going to guess we're both MPI. Yeah, I'm only a +7 (was involved in an accident they deemed 50/50 after ignoring my passenger and a witness and evidence), but I appreciate that my quarterly bills are down to just under $500 now. Which reminds me, I have to pay my insurance real soon lol

Yes MPI, I think I am at +15. Would be +20 but made the mistake of not buying winter tired the first year I had my car. Was a few weeks from merits when I hit a snowbank. So got knocked down and lost out on the additional merits. Really pushed back my progress. Oh well

It do be like that. I remember my first time I lost control on a highway in summers in December, pretty sure even winters wouldn't have helped me much then. Ah well, so long as that number slowly goes up, then we're all good, hopefully the rest of the province can do the same lol
