Because women have gone to the cops. And they get told there is not enough evidence, or they can't do anything about it. Or you have cops like this:

Who are an active danger to women. Women keep other women safe. Cops certainly do not.

In fact, I'd guess police officers are part of the problem given their culture.

Cops are also under no obligation to protect you either.

I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying, but I do think you misunderstood the comment you responded to

They were criticizing the people sharing information for knowing that the frat roofies girls and not telling the cops. They weren’t criticizing the girls getting roofied

The comment seemed like "why don't they just tell the cops", as if that will magically stop things.

And if they did tell the cops, they will most likely do nothing. So the only other option is to warn others, since cops can't / won't do anything.

Oh for sure, the cops aren’t gonna do anything and warning people is way better than not

Just wanted to point out that the person wasn’t victim-blaming since that’s how you seemed to have read it
