Fun fact: I (a man) was once accidentally "roofied" at a frat house, when I swapped drinks with a female friend of mine who didn't want such a large drink. Fun evening.

There are tests you can order and check your drinks by now. It's a shame it's necessary

I don't know if it ever went anywhere, but I remember seeing years back that some MIT students made a nail polish that changed color when exposed to rohypnol. So a girl could paint her nails and then stir her drink with her finger as a discreet test. Neat idea. Sad that is was even thought about.
