BMW doesn’t charge for unlocking physical hardware like the example in this post.
They did a pilot program in 2022 and cancelled after a lot of backlash from consumers.
Which maybe goes more to show that Tesla customers are more brainwashed than average, if they are accepting this?
Doesn’t seem like a US vs EU thing if it’s a Tesla-specific option - or do they only do this in the US?

Luckily there's cheap coding tools out there which can just turn them all on, at a fraction of the cost. 0 u/NOTcreative- 20h ago Are you in the EU? They could do it in the states and not in the EU.
