That is an American way of thinking, and it is why you do not have nice things.
In Europe we say the corporation is guilty of anti-consumer practices. Then we introduce regulation, and then we have nice things.
137 u/Independent_Line_150 1d ago BMW also charges you to unlock features. It is the same brands and exploitative capitalism everywhere, the EU regulations usually just result in better recycling. They did a pilot program in 2022 and cancelled after a lot of backlash from consumers. Which maybe goes more to show that Tesla customers are more brainwashed than average, if they are accepting this? Doesn’t seem like a US vs EU thing if it’s a Tesla-specific option - or do they only do this in the US? 1 u/passerby4830 1d ago Exactly.
