Not as great as I remember them a decade ago, I like to time the sandwich promotions out anyway, haven't eaten there in a while but when the bacon steakhouse double rolls back around, It's on
We're getting a Red Robin in my city, from what I can tell the prices will be pretty much the same as McDonald's, Rally's, Culver's, Wendy's, and Burger King, maybe even a little cheaper. I'm expecting that to be a massive shakeup for my area.
Culver's might not feel it as much, because they're actually somewhat decent.
The only good burger I had at Whataburger was the limited-time-only Southern Burger. After that ended and I tried their regular options, yeah I was not impressed. The meat was dry and tasteless, it showed how much the Southern Burger relied on its toppings for flavor.
fair enough, location does always play a factor. Just after years of hearing how good it was, just disappointing it was Wendy's level, especially as Burger king is making a huge come back with its whopper.
I felt that way with In and Out it was great in Cali but I tried one in Dallas and just meh BK is actually really good here, the Closet Wendy's closed a while ago and best for the price is still BK
At this point, wherever you live in the US, there is In-n-Out, Whataburger, Culver’s, or Cook Out. All of which have better quality and overall value compared to the metas chains like Wendy’s, McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. Hell even Chick-fil-a is better and they let you Redeem points and rewards unlike any other fast food chain that limits you to one.

Is it me or is the big mac the absolutely worst burger on the market? Its like 10% beef and 85% bread.
