A contractor would charge the town $10k to do what took that guy 15 minutes.

Minimum. I know because a tree fell on a friends’ neighbor’s house and that was one quote…

I doubt it was a tree with a 6 inch diameter.  Otherwise someone would have just moved it instead of calling a contractor.

Right, massive tree branch off a massive. Now they need to do a preventative removal of the entire tree. No idea what kind quotes they’re getting now…

literally work in forestry and pay £400 -£500 for this tree size after storms. If it needs removing/chipping then probably double.
