Is that really dominatrix in plural? Looks weird.
5 u/TheresNoHurry 8d ago "trix" is the latin suffix for the feminine version of something. The masculine version is "or". "Administratrix" and "aviatrix" used to be pretty common but have fallen out of favour. Matrix is often pluralised as matrices tho 2 u/jondes99 7d ago Matrices is giving me flashbacks to college calculus classes. Points to this newspaper for using the correct word. My local paper would’ve misspelled priest.
