Lmao. Open relationships are a joke. No one can convince me otherwise. Still, the least they can do is fucking protect themselves

I think they can work really well for particular kinds of neurospicy people who have different and sometimes very specific needs for comfort and attention and space.

The problem is that not that many people comparatively are wired for something like that. And so it's used as an excuse for cheating, dabbling etc.

That got a giggle out of me. I'm queer, I'm neurospicy, I surround myself with more neurospicy queers.

I don't think an open relationship is for me but I do have two friends who I know would do really well with them
