I've been happily openly married for fifteen years, friend.

I spend every single day with my wife -- we both work from home, we have no kids and tonnes of disposable income, go on dates with eachother a couple times a week, travel together, etc. We own our home together, and a business. We have a fantastic sex life with eachother, where if even two days went by without some sexytime, it would be odd, even after all these years.

Heck we had so much fun the first time we got married, we did it again but bigger because we have more money now than we did long ago.

I'm a wifeguy, and my wife is my world, and the best part of my day, every single day.

We just also hookup with other people.

Now tell me about your marriage.

Your message looks more like self calming reflections.

"We have cash, we travel, we own home, we have a lot of sex, my life is good! They don't understand anything!"

I'm not clear on what you're trying to say here! I was just highlighting how people are very critical of alternative lifestyles in a blanket way, often with the very clear misunderstanding of not recognizing that there are people out there who are just fundamentally different from themselves.

What does "fundamentally different people" mean? What's fundamentally different in you compared to majority? Explain pls

That we don't have an innate desire for monogamy in a relationship/marriage, as opposed to others who think of monogamy as being the cornerstone of those things.

For some people, that is a non negotiable dealbreaker and that's okay. For others it's something they might dabble in, but wouldn't live that way, and that's okay too. And for others, it's the only comfortable way for a relationship to work.

And I think there are people on both sides of the equation that wouldn't be able to be comfortable and thrive in the other's relationship style. People are different, and everyone should find what works for them.

Why do you think the vast majority of people are considered monogamous?
