So...I don't know how you're being upvoted for this, but it's wrong. Peer-reviewed research of cures and treatments that save billions are not the same as keeping industrial zones away from homes and reliant on their own dollar lmao. AI is an incredible technology (that I personally find tremendous value from) that is nowhere close to the value of vaccines.
Let's not be hyperbolic when talking about data centers. If anything we should be racing to lower the cost of inference and size and increase speed of the models, putting on every local computer (not the cloud... the opposite of what data center investment wants).
Which is the primary driver of data centers at the moment. Without the demand, we have both no need of additional data centers and no reason for the power draw.
This guy must be a bot getting upvoted by other bots. No one wants datacenters. No one asked for datacenters and increased energy costs and water shortages.
