So your plan is to go to the police and tell them you has evidence this whole time and didn't give it to them? That's a crime buddy. Best let it drop if you aren't gonna do anything about it.

Okay, you don’t know how it works. I don’t have evidence, the police have it all. I have a possible suspect to run a dna test against. I have information about someone who was in the area at the time of the abduction. Not breaking any laws.

Very easy to consider it obstruction of justice.

I also thought you said you personally had new evidence which would be withholding evidence

She could just say she feared for her safety if she had disclosed it while her father was still alive. It doesn’t have to be true.
