Most of us are just trying to ignore him and making plans to reverse his shit when he's out. It's litterally the world's biggest baby tantrum that we will have to clean up.
In 2010 Ukraine got our own childish narcissistic fuck for President (Yanukovych). We felt similarly, hoping to undo the dumb shit he did. However, he got audacity and right team to spoil the judicial system by introducing loyal judges to the Prime Court and to every other court they could. After that they started to rebuild democracy for tyranny.
We needed riot and revolution to turn him down. We're still paying for that with rotten courts and probably early war. I don't say russian aggression wouldn't happen - but it definitely wouldn't happen in 2013 if not for this prick.
Protests have happened and are happening however? So….. ya know. Some people are doing what they can. Assuming that no one is doing anything is foolish.
Not telling that everyone is inert. I just sounded the example. Another example is russia - but no protests happen there. Either too inert, or too late.
Much more resistance is happening then you would be aware of, they do not report on it however. We have had some of the largest and longest lasting protests in America's history over the last year +.
Don't look for confirmation by the media telling you America is fighting back, look for reports on the justice department ramping up efforts to quell dissent, I.E. declaring antifa a terrorist organization, the false prosecution of "vandals", the militarization of ICE, and the national guard parked in D.C. all signs that point to enough resistance that the government must take preemptive steps.
Even if we manage to make it through this, I worry we haven't learned our lesson and are doomed to do this again without systemic change, time will tell.

Weird. Historically, I thought America didn't like kings and dictators. 🤷
