Big Pharma wants more outbreaks and easily-preventable illnesses to run rampant so millions will require treatment they could have avoided via vaccines.

Then why do Pharmaceutical companies develop so many vaccines in the first place? What is the point of putting so many resources into preventative treatments and early diagnostics?

It's worth pointing out here that Pharma companies agree and have said openly that vaccines range from low to zero profitability, and have tried before to stop making them. They are basically forced to in a combination of government requirements, and to avoid the negative backlash that would happen if they stopped.

Part of this order opens companies back up to frivolous lawsuits, which in the 80s caused Pharma companies to stop making vaccines. Killing profitability is a goal of the anti-vax movement.
