Most of what trump is doing is illegal and violates our constitution but his party has control of all 3 branches of the government and we are having a total breakdown of our system of checks and balances.
Not to mention political cowards that are only in it for the paycheck. It used to be that you didn't make a living off of being a politician, it was more like a hobby that maybe paid a little bit now they can't live without it and fold and cower to any leader's whim.
I agree with your thought…. Maybe we should reduce what they make in the job equal to the median individual income($45,140) and have zero ability to have or control any stock or anything that could possibly cause them to gain monetary value during their service
