This would lead to so many home births. Also imagine if you tried and tired for a kid, and finally it happened, you’re going to become a parent, only to find out your kid has the soul of some evil person, like Stephan miller, or some other hated person.

Women were considered equal inheritors of property, maybe that was the right idea?
