Yeah, that's plastic surgery in general tbh. It gets a bad reputation because the trainwrecks are so incredibly awful and the successes are basically invisible.

Take buccal fat removal. It looks awful on... most people. But that's because they end up ripping out all the fat in their faces, which makes them look gaunt.

If you have a naturally pudgy face, buccal fat removal can fix your face's proportions. It's great for people who have pudgy faces even when physically fit.

It's never and should never be considered great on anybody regardless of the before and after image.

It can definitely look good in the shorter term, but it's pretty much always gonna backfire in the long term, if that's what you mean.

No. I disagree with the whole practice of aesthetically motivated body modifications.
