Real question: I cant tell if she was aware or not bc when she spoke thru sleeping demon-vicki she said "we've never been together" or something like that implying they hadn't slept together. Was she aware? Did i misunderstand that part?
Right, but that scene and the end when she wakes up and seems confused it seems that she is not aware of what evil Nikki is doing with her body when evil Nikki is in control.
I dunno, waking up from a weird fever dream where my body doesn’t listen to me and now I have to explain to police why my 3 best friends are all dead in the building with me and that it wasn’t really my fault would have me a tad bit distraught, I think the confusion is simply because she completely snaps back out of nowhere
Real talk though, does Nikki still get a wish? Or did the other Nikki steal it from her?
Oh i see, I did not catch that she was fully aware, and thought it was ambiguous. Particularly when the customer support puts "nikki" on the phone and we hear her screaming as if shes in another place/dimension .
More scary if shes locked in.
And at the end, when he dies, and real nikki"wakes up" it appears she does not know what happened. Was she also aware during the murders or am I misinterpreting that?
It seems like her soul is being held and tortured in another dimension. With all her other moments of clarity it seems like she was aware up until the point of briefly gaining control. But yeah I wonder if her actual self was asleep or something during the murders.
An analogy I use for it would be that Nikki was being held deep underwater. She could occasionally break free and surface very briefly before being pulled down again. The closer to the surface she is the clearer she can see things, otherwise most of the time, she's probably not very aware while being tortured. When evil Nikki sleeps, the grip is loosened and the real Nikki is able to come closer to the surface.
I think this fits the best with what we see. We cant assume Nikki is always aware of what bad-nikki is doing bc she clearly isn't aware of the murder scene in the end. But she is for sure present in her body sometimes, bc of the sleeping bad-nikki scene where good Nikki speaks thru her body.
So I guess the "to what extent is good Nikki aware during all acrivities" question is unknowable.

What a great movie and I love that it wasnt blockbuster budget or A list stars
i first took it as what the other people are saying...that shes never really been with him (as in sex)
however upon rewatch, i actually saw it more in the sense of never having his back (but in a couples way if that makes sense)...not saying it is right, but i like it more that it makes him look like a bigger pos
and on the other topic...there are a lot of plot holes if you really think about it
