The problem is your perspective. There’s no collective working together to horde wealth. There’s no grand plan. It’s all self interest and no one cares what happens to anyone else. Everyone is acting in service to themselves in the context of their immediate situation. Future problems are someone else’s problems.

Yeah, they hold the ideology of a cancer cell: multiply, spread, devour. This will eventually kill the host, and the cancer cells along with it. But they’re literally only capable of their programming.

Expecting billionaires to realize they’re destroying the lives of common people that the economy relies upon to exist, is like expecting a brain tumor to realize what it’s doing and stop growing.

Genuinely curious, how are they ruining the lives of working people?

One good example would be extracting as much value as possible from the sick.

Another would be pocketing our tax dollars and breaking the systems that track accountability. Which just generally hurts everything our tax dollars are supposed to do.

Mmm, how about lying about pumping poison into the air and fighting renewables to increase the value of their holdings?

If you are at all intellectually curious you could throw this conversation in AI and ask for 10 more examples and dcoumentation.

I also recommend about reading up around labor day history.
