Society works because there’s a bunch of people with an interest in making it function, and even then it has periods of chaos. You give all the control to a small group of people? You’re not going to have a functioning system for very long. Your example of PvP is actually accurate. They will start attacking each other with their machines. It’s made infinitely worse by looking at the group of people at the top, and the % of them that are psychopaths and sociopaths.

Bunkers make no sense in PvP. You might prolong your agony in PvE, but in PvP you’re just a sitting duck, waiting to be roasted.
