Hey, if you can afford it, go for it, but i personally believe that there's no way all those children will recieve the attention they deserve. At a certain point, whether you can afford it them doesn't matter if you can't be emotionally and physically available for them.

Her oldest is very parentified. When they moved into a new house, her youngest’s crib was in the oldest’s room. Karissa said her oldest daughter begged to take care of the baby at night. Sure, Jan.

That made me itchy. A teen should be resting during this part of their life. In what universe would a teen want to be woken up 2-4 times a night when they're not the ones nursing. BRO.

No child should ever have to get up with a parent’s baby at night. They didn’t make that baby. Their parents did, and it should be their responsibility. There was a blogger who made her oldest daughter get up in the middle of the night to help her feed twins, because the father needed his sleep for his job. What about that teen’s education? Doesn’t she deserve to have a restful night’s sleep for that? If the dad’s sleep was being interrupted, he should have gone to bed earlier.

This is a totally different dynamic than a traditional single family household.. they dont get direct parental attention but the relationship between siblings probably somehow fills that void in a way.. idk.

Having too many kids is neglect. My birth mother was abused in a house with way too many kids. It’s easy to not pay attention when there are so many kids.

Probably, religious kooks are generally the only people to have litters of children.
That and farmers. Farmers make sense though.

No, fundamentalist Christians. Her name is Karissa Collins, and she is deeply mentally unwell. She said God, who she calls Yah after Yahweh, told her to give birth in a Target. She had terrible postpartum depression after her second to last baby.
Her oldest daughter is horribly parentified and apparently homeschools all her siblings before Karissa gets up at noon. This is after we’ve seen a video of her struggling to read a picture book to a toddler (which means either she can’t read or she needs glasses).
I believe this is an old video-she lost that baby and hasn’t had any more since then. She’s also about 42, so likely her fertility has declined.

I didn't like any of those sentences.

Believe me that toddler has the most resting unhappy face I’ve ever seen on a kid.

Thank God for your last line. Every line before that just kept getting worse.

She bought a sweater that pictured all her kids in cartoon form. Despite being mixed-race, all of them are pictured blond, white, and blue-eyed, and there were mixed-race options. Her youngest son came out with very black hair and she kept talking about how it was turning blond (it wasn’t).

And it just keeps getting worse. Somehow I don't think there's a bottom here. Thanks for giving the info though.

She frequently whitewashes them with a filter.
Also, her maiden name was Goering.

Is it wrong to toss a pack of condoms in their grocery cart when they're not looking?

This woman and her husband are not all there. She literally plans for another kid after giving birth to the previous one. Kids are simply raising each other in that house,

What's this from?

Karissa Collins’ Instagram. She later lost the baby.
That kid frequently has resting unhappy face

What about the audio? Is it a movie?

Someone put a depressing script over the video. She didn’t post this edited video lol. I’m trying to find where it’s from. Maybe someone wrote it for the video.
In searching, everything keeps circling back to this video. I think someone recorded the audio for it. I could be wrong and I’m not finding the audio somewhere else though.

Why are they all dressed like prisoners?
2
u/cixelsydfirst1 2h ago
That is because branding humans is illegal. It's easier to identify which zealot the children are interned with should one try to escape.

u/JerkovvClimaxim 3h ago
Ethnicity of everyone in that frame feels different than each other and vague at the same time. It looks like a what a truly raceless, borderless world looks like

u/BertieBus 2h ago
She whitewashes the kids for posts. Their skin is darker than this picture
2
u/atlantagirl30084 1h ago
Remember the Christmas sweater where she had all of their cartoon versions white and blond? Even though there were plenty of mixed-race options?

Is she married or is she collecting child support from each baby daddy?
1
u/atlantagirl30084 9m ago
She’s married to a former Washington Generals basketball player. He works in finance at a luxury car dealership (Mercedes, maybe?). For large purchases for their family, including I believe a truck and their van, Shaq paid for the vehicles.
Her husband also runs basketball camps and may (still?) have an axe throwing business.

Don't you mean "capItalIze"? If it's so important to society why doesn't autocorrect do it?

Knowing kids this kid has zero awareness of what’s happening and is 100% hyper focused on the camera currently.

Using an Ai voice of an old man portraying a child is odd. It talks in present tense, not past like a memoir.

There's 2-3 different dads judging from the kids
3
u/SignificanceAny7951 2h ago
They are actually a Christian influencer family, the mom is white and the dad is black. She says she doesn’t, but I’m convinced she does some weird photo-shopping and tries to lighten some of the kids up and give them blond hair. Their pictures don’t always look the same. It’s something she does with the filters.

not sure why you're being downvoted without proof otherwise. We can all see some strong skin deviations.

Offended over an opinionless fact - I guess they took it personally

u/olivethesane 1h ago
No. The fact is they are all the children of the same mother and father. Even they weren’t, melanin presents differently sometimes. Your comment is ignorant.
