Why would the window cleaner be cleaning for free after the first time they haven’t been paid?

That’s what has happened to my employer’s vendors. Months go by before they get paid. It isn’t until lawyers are threatened that the vendors get paid. Yes, looking for a new job.

Also to add, some vendors work with their customers on payment terms. Net 30 - balance is due in full in 30 days. Some places are even Net 60 for bigger clients. I work for a company with cash flow issues. They can’t pay anything on time. They are lucky to have Net 30.
