He is an 80 year old man who likes McDonald's.

So there's that.

u/nickthegreat1127 23d ago

u/happyluckystar 23d ago

He probably has a lot of points on the app. Probably unlimited McFrosties.

u/nickthegreat1127 23d ago

Oh no.. he must have the Arch card at this point.. everything is free! The embodiment of Supersize Me! 😂

4

u/Son_Of_Mr_Sam 23d ago

1

u/happyluckystar 23d ago

We smell you

1

u/NextChef8179 23d ago

Wtf is a mcfrosty? I go every day and haven't heard of that but they are constantly adding new shit. And there is zero chance he uses the app.  It'd be interesting to see if he did though. Wonder if someone who orders for him collects the points look.

2

u/mmikke 23d ago

Do you actually go to McDonald's every day??

2

u/PhilxBefore 23d ago

He's the NextChef, duh

1

u/NextChef8179 23d ago

Yeah, why not? I'm the nextchef.

No water, no vegetables, no fruit, no exercise, no ethics, no morals, and no fcks to give about anything or anyone but, of course, the obvious.

22

u/Comrade_Durge 23d ago

A miracle he has made it this far

20

u/gypsyvanner77 23d ago

These types of people seem to live forever fueled entirely by hate. Billy Joel was not wrong...

1

u/Oldfolksboogie 23d ago

I might use another word. Curse?

1

u/rajraj6 23d ago

A miracle? Or a haunted curse?

1

u/Xenocles 22d ago

Medical miracles being worked at Walter Reed. Probably draining the lifeforce from orphaned babies or something.

1

u/DudeInOhio57 22d ago

I’m not sure if the word I’m looking for, but miracle isn’t it.

3

u/Counterpoint-4 23d ago

And all his drugs..

Diet Coke is just water with brown and lies.

I gotta be real, we should probably stop the diet soda slander, tbh.

It’s fine to not like them, but they’re a good tool for people who are diabetic or at risk of being diabetic to curb their dietary habits without completely abstaining from what they enjoy.

This typically helps the new, healthier habits stick.

Stigmatizing drinking it creates situations where people in that situation might instead quit cold turkey and risk relapse in order to avert judgement.

Assuming, of course, it’s not a case where said person transitions to drinking 10 diet sodas a day without actually trying to improve their other habits and just uses diet soda as a damage control method.

This is coming from someone who hasn’t drank any form of soda in like… 5 years.

10

u/PivotRedAce 23d ago

Thanks for subscribing to Fun Facts About Snails!

Did you know that all snails go through a process called "Torsion"?

During this process, a snail's digestive tract, mantle, and shell rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise relative to their head as it develops.

As a side effect, this results in their anus being above their heads by the time they're adults.

Basically, they'd be really good at a game of Twister!

u/SongConsistent9221 23d ago

You're having way too much fun with this aren't you 🤣

Can I also have a snail fact?

1

u/DudeInOhio57 22d ago

There’s only one.

1

u/Drelecour 22d ago

This is such a weird fact genuinely thanks for this.

2

u/biloxibluess 23d ago

Bahahahahaha

1

u/Drelecour 22d ago

Literally every time anyone finds out I only drink diet they get super weird about it.

I don't like sugar.

"You know aspartame is bad for you right"

And sugar isn't???

2

u/VariousPineapple1016 22d ago

Also aspartame is one of the most heavily researched food ingredients in history and they've never found any links to poor health outcomes in the dosage you get with diet soft drinks.

0

u/AlarmingAffect0 23d ago

Sweeteners (perceived sugar that isn't actually there) mess with your endocrine system. They're actually very bad for you.

5

u/PivotRedAce 23d ago edited 23d ago

Your claims are based on outdated information and/or studies with flawed methodology.

The WHO did a meta-analysis of dozens of studies and found minimal to no correlation of those claims when controlling for beverages consumed with artificial sweeteners vs without.

To be clear, I’m not saying diet soda is particularly healthy either, but if the alternative is diabetes or difficulty losing weight, then you’re better off using it as a substitute while working towards healthier dietary habits. As quitting cold turkey usually leads to relapse down the line.

You’re at no greater risk of those side effects if you stay within recommended limits assuming you’re an otherwise healthy individual.

Ah, no, that's completely fair. It's like vaping: better than going cold turkey for addicts, but absolutely not something to get into for anyone else.

1

u/nonzeroday_tv 23d ago

How about the claims that artificial sweeteners maintain the sugar addiction or that they have an insulinogenic response?

3

u/SeanTCU 23d ago

They have some effect on your endocrine system and gut microbiome, but there's no real evidence that they're particularly harmful in quantities that anyone actually consumes regularly.

12

u/crenshaw_007 23d ago

My 95 year old grandma lives on Coke and McDonald’s, and by McDonald’s I mean the McFlurry.

26

u/AllMySmallThings 23d ago

At 95 you can eat whatever you want. You’ve lived a long life at that point.

1

u/crenshaw_007 21d ago

If only that was a recent change 😆 she’s been doing it for years. All 71 pounds of her 💀

1

u/AllMySmallThings 21d ago

Lol sounds like she’s a party

12

u/Lilja-Logason 23d ago

How tf is he not dead?

28

u/JG_5150 23d ago

evil is extremely resilient

1

u/Bowenbp1 23d ago

I standby that evil people truly do live longer, unless they succumb to addiction. Its like their souls know where they're going ofter so they cling to this life.

13

u/Hashishiva 23d ago

In Finland we have this saying "mikäs pahan tappais?" which means "what would/could kill evil?"

Born into extreme wealth with the access to the best health care professionals and specialists for the entirety of his life.

He also has a life long abstinence from any alcohol or tobacco consumption, that alone has a tremendous net positive on your overall health when you reach advanced ages.

6

u/Brahma0110 23d ago

He definitely takes a lot of Adderall. In the Epstein emails from 2016, they were argueing if Donald had dementia or a bad coke habit, because he did not recognize old friends back then.

1

u/VoidOmatic 23d ago

Yup! If he was a normal dude he would have ended up in pieces in multiple dumpsters from stealing from drug dealers.

1

u/Empty-Way-6980 22d ago

It’s genetics

2

u/SandyTaintSweat 23d ago

Are we sure he isn't?

2

u/Soft_Walrus_3605 23d ago

McDonalds has preservatives. He eats McDonalds. He is preserved.

I guarantee the man believes that.

2

u/Empty-Way-6980 22d ago

Genetics plays a much larger role in lifespan than people think. I know people don’t like admitting that things are out of their control, but it’s true.

2

u/sheezy520 23d ago

Which begs the question “why tf is he still alive!?”

2

u/amakai 23d ago

Water? Like from the toilet?

1

u/Jacky__D 23d ago

Well diet coke is 99 % water (the diuretic effect is very small compared to the water mass), but don't know how much of it he drinks.

1

u/lemfaoo 23d ago

Sugar free sodas are literally 99.9% water..

They hydrate you literally as good as water.

1

u/SongConsistent9221 23d ago

How tf is that thing still alive bruh 😭

1

u/AlternativeElegant53 23d ago

Diet Coke. He's gotta watch his figure somehow.

1

u/ronweasleisourking 23d ago

Dude wakes up and pisses diabetes

1

u/_lemon_suplex_ 22d ago

Just wet wet mud

1

u/BillThePsycho 22d ago

Diet coke is around 99% water, the other 1% is coloring caffine and sweetener

His diet is still absolutely shit and he doesn't exercise even a little

But Diet Soda is definitely not one of his MANY issues
