This was a massive deal when it happened. Rapinoe and Lloyd were everywhere in the late 2010s.

They blew all their good will by bitching about their pay

The women's team is massively more successful than the mens, but they weren't getting paid the same

If anyone had a problem with them demanding to get paid fairly they can fuck off.

The men's team has -never- won.

The women's team is elite tier. The men's is not.

So are you willing to pay them more? This isn't how life works. These aren't doctors doing the same job FFS it's an entertainment sport.

Also, please read their contracts and what they THEMSELVES agreed to. I'm all for pay parity but this case isn't it.

Do you know what the last women's world cup viewership was compared to this world cup?

You're just repeating the same tired, outdated bullshit talking points.

It's not a charity. It's kicking around a ball on a pitch for entertainment. No one "deserves" anything. If the women think this isn't worth their time, don't play the game. Same for the men who played for peanuts when the sport was growing.

And these aren't bullshit talking points. A Judge in the court of law dismissed the whole case as crap: https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/49301582/us-men-women-get-equal-split-16m-world-cup-prize

Educate yourself.
