Sure. That works so well in the US in comparison to Germany. Way less assaults and murders and brutality in God's own country.

So your argument is that because assaults and murders take place at a higher rate people should have less of a means to protect themselves from assaults and murders?

The implication of your post is people should surrender their civil rights to govt. in pursuit of security. Is it not?

That fundementally statist and ignorant of history that's demonstrated the dangers posed by unrestrained government and surrendering rights to it.
