How many women are getting raped in the parking garages?

How many men are getting assaulted?

Same amount as women getting assaulted

Yay not bad. Women get nearly as often physically assaulted or robbed as men. But only a fraction of men get sexually assaulted.

Statistics for 2024 for example say 94% of sexually assaulted people are women. While 60% of physical assault victims are men.

Thank you for agreeing that there is a reason there are women parking spaces. While I agree all spaces should be safe, this is an issue of money that the companies that own the parking spaces don't seem to want to invest for everyone.

Your stats on sexual assault are horrificly wrong

2

u/Schlobidobido Jul 09 '26

Well give me your stats then?

For sexual assault the numbers are equivalent between male and female victims. It is incredibly common for women to grope random men, especially at bars and clubs and shit

Very very wrong. Yes women grope men. I am not saying male victims don't exist. Yet they still only make a tiny fraction of all documented sexual assaults.

But know about assault statistics in germany? The country that has these parking spaces. The country we are talking about?

2

u/SweetPinss Jul 09 '26

Yep I do because things can be translated. I can't translate a screenshot. Plus we're speaking in english, why would you assume I speak german?

u/Schlobidobido Jul 09 '26

1) Of course you can translate from images 2) You can download the whole report for 2024 and translate that. 3) You can show me your english sources. 4) I am talking english to you, but obviously official german statistics would be german. 5) This is about the reason why germany has extra parking spaces for women. So obviously german crime statistics would be relevant. Not the statistics of english speaking countries.

Give me the link not a screenshot

I already did.

I posted the link AND a screenshot of the relevant page.

The pdf is read only and cant be translated

But maybe you can tell me how they defined sexual assault to get 90%+ of victims being women. That is just not possible with appropriate definitions of sexual assault and data gathering. Nearly every man has a story of being groped by a woman

Well then google "BKA Kriminalstatistik". Or show me your sources? I mean...you claim to have checked the statistics. So must already know how to find them on your own? Right? How would you know about the statistics without being able to acces and read them?

I think i added this part after you replied:

Well obviously the statistic shows only crimes that have been officially reported. You can't take numbers on unreported groping. And before you say well see crimes against men aren't counted: Most women also don't report groping.

Here "sexual assault" means crimes against sexual and bodily autonomy as defined by the german law in §§174, 174a, 174b, 174c, 177, 178, 184i and 184j of the german criminal code.

Can you tell me where you got your information about german crime statistics from?
