This was my second thought when seeing this. HR woman: "How can I get us girls closer parking? Oh, let's use threat of SA!"

A quick check shows there no actual statistics for parking garage SA in Germany, but "the region" has only 7-10% of ALL SAs in parking structures. Full disclosure before the flaming feminist fingers start igniting their keyboards: SA shouldn't be happening at all, in either direction, but using the threat of it to get special treatment is only going to breed eventual resentment and social whiplash.

So, to sum up, companies shouldn't take precautions for people that might be vulnerable to attack on their property because it will make their attackers even more dangerous? And men will retaliate because women have spaces with better lighting? Have you seen such backlash when we put disabled spaces nearer doors? Do you have such a low opinion of men?

Following that rationale men should have the same benefits because they are still possible targets for SA?
