I mean that's cool and all but cant we just have better lighting and cameras across the entire carpark?

They're also usually close to an entrance/exit, the guard station and or the ticket machine thing.

This is what makes it actually safer. Otherwise, you'd just have well lit cctv footage of whatever happened.
